In the 'hood, all that matters are your colors... Bob Hodges (Robert Duvall) is a seasoned street cop who has learned a lot from long experience while his new, young partner, Danny McGavin (Sean Penn), has learned nothing - yet knows it all. Forced to work together in the L.A.P.D.'s renowned C.R.A.S.H. anti-gang unit, they set out to investigate a brutal gang murder. Hated and hunted by both sides, the cops soon find themselves trapped in the middle of a turf war. With nowhere to turn, they are ambushed, double-crossed and shot at in a take-no-prisoners street battle. @@dirtyreg22 Yea but the bloods only lost one member. Nobody got killed at the funeral. One of the crips got killed by the police and like 5-6 of them died in the shootout with the Latinos. Idk just my opinion.🤷🏽‍♂️

I feel like the movie was sorta meant to be a warning about gang culture and scare people into avoiding it. Having NWA might have been too much of a "cool" part. Just my opinion though...

Comments like this one show the stupidity that some people actually think that the police causes to happen and no responsibility for the people who actually commit these crimes right? They parked like this, so they could see who comes in and out of the funeral home without being noticed, perhaps a potential suspect or wanted person, presents themselves that your correct answer.
