*Lyrics* Is that rain? Or are you crying again? Would it be the same if I could Hold you my friend? And know it’s hard to be alone A soul with no face is a lonely embrace I know it’s hard I know it’s hard to be alone Now there’s clouds Between us all And the road ain’t so clear But we still walk or crawl I know it’s hard to be alone A soul with no face is a lonely embrace I know it’s hard I know it’s hard to be alone Oh so little Come to me now I wanna hold you In any way I know how We’re flying now with the powerful owl I’m gonna hold you In any way I know how Is that rain? Or am I crying again? A soul with no face is a lonely embrace I know it’s hard I know it’s hard But you ain’t gonna be alone

I feel like COLORS deserves an Emmy nomination. No one else is exposing young people, or just people in general, to this level of raw, eclectic artistry. Media outlets are so set on making sure certain people only hear certain music. No wonder everyone is stuck in a spiritual rut. Music is spiritual.

My wonderful husband of 21 years just began hospice care after a 3-year battle with cancer. I have been his #1 fan, nurse and cheerleader the entire time. Now, I know the end is getting closer. When I wake in the middle of the night I move close to feel his heat and hear his breath. Tonight, I gave up on sleep and pulled out the laptop...and stumbled on this song...and cried. Edit on 8/30/24: my husband passed on 10/29/23. I’ve written a book to share my love story with the world and to share my grief. To share the pain of that loss and what happens next. My book will be released in January 2025. I hope many others find it healing. I’d like to attach a photo of the cover, but I don’t think I can. It is titled Something More Than Love: When Your Husband Dies and Takes Half Your Heart With Him by Patty Gilbride.

He grew up in the greatest time for music, and handed down a love of it to me and my brother. I wish he was still here so I could play the Teskey Brothers for him. I know the reaction it would get, you could see in his face as he’d look away, lost in the music, that it was taking him to another place and time.

i was chillin on my phone, autoplay selected this, im vibe, im like, aight nice , who's this old black man keeping the old school alive? only to see its a fairly young caucasian man. The shock. The hilarity of the situation. The beauty of the music and his voice. ITs all very nice. Its a nice moment. I like this moment.

I love how you put it, you liked the moment. exactly it's another classic example of never judging a book by its cover. Have you ever seen the video of Teddy swims doing the Luther cover And he literally looks like an unmade bed. and hes eating Doritos. Omg Then he opens his mouth everything else is Forgotten. I feel the same way with the teskeys. I only discovered them within the last year but believe me I make up for it now. The teskey brothers music touches the soul of an old white woman

Such connection and harmony are only possible when people learn to accept each other and understand that we are all the same, regardless of culture, religion, nationality, or skin color. Music is a form of energy, and energy manifests in waves. When we close our eyes and merge with each other in a state of acceptance, a harmony emerges that is rarely realized in everyday life when we see with open eyes. Cheers and God bless you all!

Ready for night number 2❤
