JJ Grey and the Mofro Lukas Nelson and the promise of the real Jason Boland and the Stragglers TAB BENOIT (SEEN HIM LIVE 6 XS If ya have the chance dont miss going to see him) Lake Street Dive St Paul and The Broken Bones Many of these artists dont want to be "discovered". In that way. Its what keeps me listening to good music as i seek it out. For some reason it comes into play that the music and soul of it are not as corrupt in some way. Much like Woodie Guthrie and John Prine. There is something just more pure about the music. Like a treasure you share with just a few.

Thanks for commenting guys. Just like to mention dream came true. These guys came to Cologne and I outlived my expectations. In one word? Awesome. It was breathtakingly pure soul STAX music, uncut and beautiful. A moment I will never forget!! Sooo happy to have seen these guys and cannot wait for their return. My son introduced me to the Teskey Bros and after listening to Crying Shame, I am hooked. Their music is soulful, country, hypnotic and above all chilling. As soon as they tour the UK, I'll be there. Love them. ♥️♥️♥️

You guys have an amazing sound.. My hubby use to be a musician and played the sax in a soul band. They played Otis Redding , Wilson Picket and many many other artist songs. I so wish I had recorded them back them. Your sound takes me right back there and you have no idea how much I appreciate that. Hubby is 82 now and has lost his chops even though he still has his sax. He has a naked Lady Barry in the closet that needs a bit of work. If I can ever get it fixed it would be very valuable. Hubby has Alzheimer's and stage 4 lung cancer. We have been married 53 years. I so miss those days of fantastic music. Thank you once again.

December 10 1967 was a very sad day, we lost the great Otis Redding ( I was 19 ). I listen to his music often and it brings back sweet memories . I never thought I would here that sweet sound ever again but yesterday a group of us oldies had a garage sale and someone played a CD of this band , we were all spellbound. We all remember when music was MUSIC and these guys are good !!!!! The lead singer has this Otis Redding sound, I am hooked and I will buy their CD ‘S and spread the word about this blessing. Another great band from our Australian neighbours !

I've been listening to The Teskey Brothers for a while, fantastic, great music and on point vocals couple with a great tone. I had the pleasure of spending 3 weeks in Perth, Australia around 5 years ago. visiting my wife's cousin's family who emigrated there a few years previously. Oh my! I'd move there in a heartbeat but sadly too old although I could get a work visa. If you ever have an opportunity to holiday, work or move there, take it. I found it beautiful, everyone was super friendly and kind. Hope to visit again before my last breath whenever that is :)
