IMPORTANT UPDATE: As of March 10th, you can no longer acquire the Ka Doom Shotgun, Hoverboard, and Flying Broom in your inventory. The Korek Charm now also has a cost of 1 Rare Infected Trophy per repair. The cost of crafting all dev items has been significantly reduced. Alright, I'm going to do my best to act as tech support for this game and answer your questions: 1) If the Doom Room or Techland room are locked when you try to revisit them, have someone join your game. This unlocks the door/elevator. 2) Apparently you can't get the Cyberhands 2177 if you've completed the story already... great. Make sure you get these before starting the epilogue. 3) If you're using the quit game (quit to main menu) method to get the doom shotgun, hoverboard or broom, make sure you have space in your inventory (throwables) BEFORE you start the challenge. Glitch for the Marian Boots: If you use the Marian boots and as soon at the jump animation starts pause the game, go to photo mode, and exit but immediately pause, the animation will continue but keep raising you up in the air. So in the PK Missy ship, behind Juan’s office & below the library is a door that pings when using survivor sense. You can interact with it but not open it. I’ve tried interacting with it several times, each time I went back to Missy for the Book Club missions. I’m wondering if it’s like the original Korek machete where we have to “try” opening it X amount of times. I’m going to keep trying that door now in hopes it’s hiding Korek’s secret.

You dont need to quit the game to keep the Broom, just go to the nearest stash and put your broom in there, and exit the challenge by holding G, when you enter your stash the broom will be there and you can equip it. Much better way to keep it, than crashing your game IMO.

I think it's some sort of checkpoint issue for the "No power" bug and almost all the other bugged/glitched easter eggs so after doing each cable or before sitting on the bed for the "It's Me... Marian" shoes make sure to press pause > online menu > favourites then go back to the game this solves the easter egg not registering.

A fix to your game getting stuck like that is deleting friends on your friends list until your under 300 friends and you should be able to connect properly

Some changes have been made by Techland to Korek Charm! It does now cost 666 scraps to add it to a weapon and it only gives +300 durabilty. So it really makes you question, whether you want to repeatedly apply it.

@@bonukem Apparently they changed it roughly a year ago when they made it "easier" to repair weapons at the craftsmaster or whoever. I havent played this game since before all the patches and removals of glitching dev weapons. I remember my friends save bugging out so bad that it unlocked everything at once but softlocked him in the first half of the game, it also gave us some weird knives that had 20,000 durability.

Kacper's Flip-Flops (Auto-Roll) - Can confirm, got these before doing the Broadcast quest and shortly after making it to the Central Loop. I noticed the spot where they spawn evolving from being just a banged-up chair to evolving into a comfy table and chair replete with homestead decor, over multiple visits. Hope this helps!

Just so everybody knows the doom shotgun is not infinite. It has 1993 rounds for the year doom came out. They last a long time though and you could probably make it through the full game with 4 or 5 of them and a little melee.

Important detail for paraglider, you CAN actually use it because you just need to press it to activate it, not hold it, so as long as you’re fast enough, which is really easy to do since you need to hold the button for a full second or so to release the cable, you can use the paraglider to make this much easier.

For the broom he’s almost there. U have to pause midway through the challenge and then reload the game to get the broom in ur inventory. If u quit the challenge and then reload ur game it won’t show up. Great video tho.

When you’re powering up the dev room building, you can still use your paraglider on controller to drop down floors, just tap the paraglider as apposed to holding the button when you have the cable in your hands.

I have a huge problem with dev items in this game. Not only is there a tiny amount of them compared to the first. They completely ruined the ability to get some of them. They also don’t give you blueprints and many cost far to much or have barley and ammo and durability. We need a major update for blueprints and dev weapons in the future. Dying light 1 mastered the weird and wacky dev items and weapons and that’s the main reason I play it more then the second

It's nine goals total, it gives you a light show for every three goals that you get, and make sure you completely leave the district each time, and it works best if you do it by fast travel. If you're having trouble getting it go on the building to the left when you're facing the goal and then fast travel away and run back. There is a fast travel place in houndfield that's the closest for fast traveling out of the district and running back. And the weapon is very low grade, so unless a level 22 damage common weapon is a good thing for you, you're probably going to be a bit disappointed, but the dancing zombie is a cool thing to see nonetheless.

A trick to bypass tasks being glitched out. Bring up the online menu and click on friends list. You will hear a noise and when you exit the menu back to the game it will work. That's how I got the frying pan. Trying it on other tasks as well and it works.

You can use your paraglider to go for the cables when getting the Korek charm. Just make sure to tap the button, not hold it down and your paraglider will deploy without releasing the cable. Thats what I did. Found a video that explains if perfectly. Just search for the videos on here.

You can still use the paraglider for console while holding onto a power cable. Instead of holding square, just mash it multiple times to activate it. It'll activate the paraglider without releasing the power cable.

Also, anomalies disappearing as soon as you kill them is a thing and was on release too. for the Korexk charm doing the second cable you need to jump to the right, or you miss the first window and they changed its use, now once your weapon gets to 25% durability or lower, it does 40% more damage. You also cant quit a game and keep a challenge items any more. so no more hover board instead of a glider.

The Doom easter egg has an awful visual glitch for me on Xbox One S, it's unplayable as there's only a tiny portion of the screen you can make out. I ended up glitching my way in underneath the map to obtain the blueprints in peace, painstakingly slow, using youtube footage for guidance through what i could barely actually make out on screen. As for the closed elevator for the Ka Doom shotgun, theres a solo method of glitching under the map just south-west of the vnc tower using the grapple and glider in rapid succesion against the corner of a wall.

Hey, I tried to get the last doom shotgun, but for some reason, that big facility place that has the 5th duck has the door shut. I found an entrance on the side, but it’s covered in the Uv chemicals(the ones that kill you In friggin seconds) so I die before I can get to a safe area. Any ideas?

In the newest update they programmed the kadoom to not function outside of the doom level. If you have it in your inventory it will work but if you put it in aidens stash it will permanently disappear and the way of obtaining it via glitch will not work either. The only way of getting it back is to have a friend drop you a copy in coop

Oh yeah they change the correct charm now it doesn’t repair your weapon. It just does extra damage when it’s on low durability and did it attack damage by 40%. I wish this stay in the game because it was kind of back when it originally was now you have to spend all your scrap to get your weapons back to HP Thanks. Techland.

speaking of the mistress sword, it isn’t completely useless, throughout my 100 hour playthrough, hitting enemies with the sword has a 100% chance to trigger a finisher, killing enemies quite quickly, probably is a new feature.

Korek Charm now requires 400 mutation samples to craft. It also only increases damage when to durability is low by 40%. It no longer repairs your weapon.

You can use the glider for the charm and finger on controller. Double pressing the glider button will deploy it

Your totally able to pull out your glider while holding a cable on ps5 , for those who didnt feel like waiting till the broadcast mission/grappling hook to climb the vnc tower , also its possible to climb said tower without a hook and its fairly easy . For all those eager beginners like me you can get your eggs before you even hit the "orders" mission ❗️

Koresk Charm did not age well, they have patched it, so you can no longer repair the weapon using it, now it just gives you 40% damage when your weapon is below 25% health

You don’t have to sit in the chairs for 1 minute for the korek charm. You only have to sit in it for like 1 second so you can sit in the chairs then get up right after.

Fir the Korek charm you can use the glider just tap the glider button once you jump instead of holding it like normal

As someone who got the korek charm with controller using the paraglider It's really easy dont hold the paraglider activate button, just press it a couple times and you'll be fine

The Korek Charms stats were completely changed and no longer repairs weapons or adds durability as of 2024. It also costs 400 mutation samples to apply on a weapon. All it does now is increase damage by %40 WHEN the weapons durability is at %25 or lower.

For the pan of destiny, rather than swimming through the area and climbing around, from outside the building (right at the end of the bridge on your right, as you face the doorway) theres a pipe you can climb that from there allows you to jump to the balcony then run straight to the chicken room

Toy sword look like it’s only programmed to do limb damage and drain stamina. but don’t affect enemies main health like other weapons but still do damage.

Nowadays you can execute enemies with it. And it’s still unbreakable. Tried it out myself. See for yourself and try it on some biters if you don’t believe me.

There's a few of these you cant get if you've completed the main story. That's more than likely why you couldn't get them on your playthrough and had to do it in a friend's lobby.
