As Christians, we should be models of sincere thankfulness both to people and to God. Jesus not only risked His life for us, but He also sacrificed His life for us. And as “God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved” we should be eternally grateful.
In the book of Colossians, Paul places a strong emphasis on gratitude. This theme of gratitude can be seen in Colossians 3:15-17 where, in all three of these verses, Paul underscores the importance of being thankful. But how do we do that? And what does that look like in real life?
This is a sermon based on Colossians chapter 3. I preached this message at the Minnehaha Church of Christ in Vancouver Washington on Sunday, July 19, 2020.
