Colour Palettes - The basics

It could be useful: If your colours were damaged for some reasons like incorrect export and import, and you see red or magenta fills instead of your original colours, try the following trick: close the program without saving, delete the palettes from the “Palettes” folder from your project, open the scene again, confirm that you want to restore colours (in a dialogue window that appears right from the start). Saving in a new file usually helps. All is left to do is to rename the palettes and reorganise them.

I keep coming back to your tutorials because they're so clear and direct. After creating color pallettes for my characters in a scene, how do I export and import them into other scenes? I've checked a number of other sources, but haven't found this little detail yet.

Is there a way to replace the names of the colours in batch? Like you want to change FRCK to ROCK on 50 colours.

I just tested this now and it works. Find the .tpl that matches the palette you want to change in your 'palette-library' folder for your project. (Safety step: Duplicate it so that you have a copy) 1. Open it with Notepad (or any text editor) Then in Notepad, press Ctrl + H (or Edit > Replace) to open the Replace prompt. Find: The characters you want to change. Replace: What you want to change it to. Hit the 'Replace All' button. boom all changed. save the TPL. Save your harmony file and reopen your scene. (I reopened Harmony entirely tho so don't know if you'll need to do that or just reopen your scene) Careful not to add any extra out of place characters, or spaces in the file. It likely will not be readable by Harmony if you do.

Hi Ze! Idk if this is a valid question, but is there any way to resize the font in my colour pallet when it is in the swatch mode? In my toonboom the font is so big that I can only see 7 characters and I noticed that yours supports 13 characters. Is this a configuration of your toonboom or just a pc resolution?
