Lucy! This page is so beautiful! Yes time does go by more quickly as you get older. I’m 64 and my husband and I often talk about it. And I’ve just gotten into adult coloring a few months ago and I’ve already got more coloring books than I can ever hope to have time to do properly. Same with supplies. It’s become an obsession. Sigh. Also wanted to mention my mother was the same with plants. She would rescue the saddest African violets from the grocery store. Now I’m the same way! So proud of you for giving the rose a chance of bringing beauty to your garden! You’re the most awesome person!!! ❤

Lucy this is gorgeous! When I was little , we had roses on the side of the driveway. One day I took all the peddles off and my parents were not very happy. After that they would call me peddle picker. 😊😍💖🥀

I just got this book because I fell in love with it after you showed it, I love the way they have the example of the coloring like you said it takes the stress out & you can just enjoy coloring…..I was hoping to see you use the Arrtx pencils I just bought those as well.

I feel exactly the same way about Klara markova books. Can not get them anywhere. They are beautiful pictures. I have just managed to get nostalga from amazon and four seasons. Nostalga only had two left before I purchased one. It is my 40th Birthday today and I know what you mean about time seems to speed up as you get older.

I have first book Klara Morkova and for years not coloring. How done 4 pages and enought. 🤭. I can't say when I like it very much this book. Why people's so much want this books 😊?

Hey Lucy. I would be interested in completing a book as part of the group! And yes the time does pass quicker the older we get! BUT on the flip side....many we have known and many more we have not , do not get the opportunity to grow older, much less grow old! We are blessed!😊

Hi Lucy although not my style of colouring books it is still beautiful none the less and I love watching you colour. Yes I know what you mean about time passing by so quick, I often wonder where the last quarter of a century has gone!!! I too will be celebrating ( I think ) my fiftieth the same month as you. I so agree with you. I feel like time is passing faster as I grow older even though we each get the same 24 hours. This page turned out beautifully! I think I am going to try out the Tooli-Art pens too. Such a cool discovery of being able to smooth them out with water!

I love your idea of completing one book, today you're hitting on subjects we share in common😅 I just decided I want to commit to completing Tender Enchantments, I never noticed what a joy coloring on the paper in her books is. If I have the book you settle on I will color along with you. Something I do anyhow bc I love listening to you while I color❤😊🫠 oh & BTW if you have a set of Albert Duer, or the Neo Color by Caran de'Ache your already ahead of the game😂

Can you colour over the paint pens, Lucy, so use them as a base??

you can I use a water bush to smooth them out while they are still wet. However, it is not easy to colour over them. I would practice first xxxx

Hi Lucy, just to answer your question: yes, time definitely seem to pass more quickly, the older you are. This is a common perception amongst grown-ups and elderly, but strange though because objectively of course, it does'nt. It may have something to do with the fact that as adults, we are in many areas forced to divide our time between things we HAVE to do and things we WANT to do. Kids have more time to play - it's that simple.

Hi Lucy, I’ve just clicked onto your colour along although I haven’t got either of them YET! However, about five minutes in I went over to Amazon to remind myself of their price. Only one copy left of Nostalgia - that changed my mindset immediately and I knew I had to get it. I didn’t want it to be lonely so also ordered the other one too! For anyone else who is interested they now have six of those left. If you like them I know they will be as beautiful as they sound. I want to try and be more careful what books I buy this year, I have so many books and need to go through them and be pretty ruthless. I frequently ‘go looking’ for a book when I feel extra depressed and I have made some bad purchases and now, of course, there are the AI books to avoid. I bought one the other day and although I actually like the pictures at first glance, I’m pretty sure it is AI which has put me off it. It’s a pity Amazon donIt have to say whether it is hand drawn or not, I’ve noticed that some of the books we all tend to buy are saying they are hand drawn so that is helpful. I actually do need some help to keep going at the moment but the Green Ivory I know are quality and might persuade me to actually colour something. I like the idea of viewing them as books to be completed and give me a sense that I do have a future. I think I’ll get one in about a couple of weeks and Nostalgia a bit longer so I’ll put your colour along on ice ‘til I have the 📕. Whoever the kind person who sent you the books was, has unknowingly pleased someone else so if you read this, a big thank you. And thank you too, Lucy for sharing your gift with us.

Lucy, you mentioned that you can't find 'The Mouse Guard' to purchase. But Lucy, you did a color with me in that book July 28, 2021. It was the one with the little mouse riding a seahorse, and was a 2-parter. Maybe check, but I sure hope it didnt get lost on a room move! ❤

I grow roses too i would wait until spring 🌼 to plant her in your garden 🪴 when it warms up. I like to rescue plants too I’m always checking the reduced plants at Bunnings.. is a big hardware store.. I’m just after magical delight from Klara.. ❤❤❤😊😊😊xxx

Hi Lucy, Looks like it's off to great start. FYI; I'd hate for you to feel like you're missing out on something by not having the 'Supra Soft' by Caran de' Ache. This was one of my first watercolor sets, and to be perfectly honest I've never been crazy about them, wet or dry. I still don't use them bc they don't color well on most coloring book paper. I did just buy a new set of Cazanne am coloring with them in my Tender Enchantments, funny you mentioned her today I am also looking for Magical Delights, & another 2. Amazon doesn't appear to be carrying even her new titles😢 Anyhow I am having far more fun with these Cazanne than I ever did the Supra Soft. Just my two cents😉 '

I find time DOES pass quicker the older I get! It started at around 45 and now I know its not my imagination. Many people have said the same thing! I haven't bought a Klara Markova book I have the first 4. My disability has become worse, I need to get a special electric table that tilts. I am in a reclined position and cannot sit upright due to severe spinal disease. I haven't coloured in over 3 years! I keep buying the books I want, on my husbands pension, we can't afford the cost of medical equipment. I got an electric wheelchair coming this spring ($20,000 Cad) and have to put an electric lift ($16,000 Cad) and add to the size of my porch so I can get the very heavy wheelchair down so I can go outside. I haven't been anywhere but the doctor's and tests 5 times in 3 years. I can't wait to feel the wind in my face, see the birds, trees and flowers! Then to go anywhere with the wheelchair I need a new vehicle that is fitted to hold my wheelchair. I don't think I will have that for years. So the table must wait! We don't get what we want, but we are blessed to have what we need. Anything extra is a huge blessing. Cheer up K! There will always be new books of this we can be SURE! 😅
