They have done a pastel blue with some lavender shades. But I hear you. I'd love a gradient of cool toned blues and cool toned purples with some neutrals for the crease. I'd also like to see an entire pallet of satin textures. These are very flattering for lids over 40. Also, I'd love to see an entire pallet of duo chromes.

Yeah for real, they keep doing warm and pink toned purples all the damn time. The 5 pan has been the closest but they still had to include 2 warmer ones 🙄

I want a cool toned palette with some fun pops of purples and blues (like Stone Cold Fox vibes BUT with pops of COLOR too). Enough with the warm oranges and warm pinks. Those cool browns are speaking to me but that's it

SERIOUSLY. So many "purple" palettes out there (not just from Colourpop, but, like, everyone) are barely purple at all. A purple-leaning pink is not a damn purple. I just want some lovely, rich royal purples. Some lighter, some darker. Some leaning a teensy bit more pink, others a teensy bit more blue, but both without leaving the realm of true royal purple. Some mattes, some shimmers, metallics, even duochromes. Purple ones. Is this too much to ask? It sure seems to be hard to deliver.

At least with food, "may contain" is simply an allergy warning because it was processed in a plant that also uses those ingredients. Foods that say "may contain: milk"/etc are still vegan (provided the rest of the actual ingredient list is clean). I'm not sure what the restrictions are for makeup labeling however.

I realize that must be some kind of CYA label but I just really can't understand how a product that "may contain" a non vegan ingredient would be okay to slap the vegan label on... not for legal purposes, but for the actual human consumers who are concerned with using strictly vegan products. Even if it would technically hold up in court, it feels like a disservice to those customers 😞

Very good information. My eyes react badly to carmine so I assume I am allergic or something, any palette that contains that ingredient I just pass on it. But for those who can't or shouldn't use these products because of that ingredient (or others), these palettes need to be labeled clearly. Thanks for this video.

Just brought this today at Ulta because I was considering the Thats Taupe Pallet and the Bare Necessities Palette and Nude Mood, but I ended up choosing Lust for Dusk. Beautiful colors and super pigmented. I was considering Morphe as well, but these are a lot more blend able and bold in color.

This palette definitely intrigued me but I honestly think I would be buying it for the foiled shade, and I don’t love that formula. The teal palette looks gorgeous but I don’t wear that tone often enough to warrant purchasing it. And the Limoncello blushes are ok, I preferred the cream ones that came out when the collection launched. The lux glosses are gorgeous, though!

Interesting about the carmine! Thanks for pointing that out. I’m often allergic to red eyeshadow. I suspected it was carmine. I didn’t even check the Boudoir Noir and I’m not allergic to any of those shadows. I LOVE this color story! However it looks like two palettes I bought recently, Dominique Latte and Athr Rose Quartz. I have subculture too! That was a lot of comparisons! Thank you!! 🙌🏻. Your nails looks beautiful!

I was eyeballing this palette at Ulta yesterday but wasn't sure how closely it compared to That's Golden which I bought (even after your "meh" review lol) during the memorial day sale. Looks like I made a good choice since they are very similar. But can I say I am H Y P E D that you're going to do a High Tide review?! It's my mission today to find a way to make that palette "daily wearable" because I'm obsessed with the theme and the color teal. My goal is to look interesting and fun instead of bowling-alley-bartender which most blue/green shades seem to do to people. I feel like (at least based on pictures) Stone Cold Fox has a lot of the same tones as the Glam palette. Or there's also the Kara Beauty Goddess Nem palette. (I actually just got both but haven't used either yet because I'm lazy and unmotivated, hooray!) I can't speak to the quality, as I've 1. I've never tried ND and 2. Like I said, I haven't tried the palettes yet. But the colour story is pretty comparable (and there's more, as they both have 30 shades to ND's 15).

I have stone cold fox and ND glam and they are not the same but you can get similar looks to the ND. I don’t regret buying Stone Cold plus it’s half the price 🙂

I like that the oranges don’t dominate the palette. Compared to other “fiery” palettes (like UD Wild West), this one seems more approachable if you prefer cool/neutral tones.

I'm not Vegan either but feel it's very important to list the ingredients properly. Some people are actually sensitive/allergic to Carmine & others are very sensitive to the red dyes used in place of Carmine. I saw an increase of reported eye irritation when certain brands switched to all vegan formula. Cruelty Free & Vegan are not the same thing either. If you're purchasing from Ulta or Sephora it's best to check the ingredients on the brand's website for the product you are interested in to get the full & most current ingredient list. I really hope this one comes to the Colourpop website as I would really like it and obviously being in the UK I can't get it in Ulta. I remember when the Truly Madly Deeply palette came out, I happened to be in the US on holiday and I went to every Ulta I could find. Couldn't get hold of that palette though. But then when I got home it arrived on Colourpop's website and I snapped it up. I think it's probably one of my favourite Colourpop palettes. Ever. .. I also regularly wear highlighter across my whole cheek as I'm not really a fan of the strip across my cheekbone.

Please do live swatches of the palette you are reviewing because it really really helps in judging how pigmented and smooth the shadows are and how much we'll have to build them up. ❤️

All these swatches and comparisons already take me several hours for each video. My video swatches are always consistently the same: 1-2 swipes each, no primer, same brush every time so there's not much benefit to doing them live compared to how much extra time it would take.

I just bought this palette and I do love it, but I’m starting to think CP is trolling us with how much they rip themselves off. Like just look at the comparison swatches with the Bare Necessities palette! Soooo many repeat shades. If they slowed down and stopped releasing new stuff every eight seconds, they’d be able to create new and original palettes that aren’t just variations on old themes, but I guess they have to manufacture scarcity somehow by claiming that everything is “limited edition” now. So disappointing. That being said, the Lust for Dusk palette is stunning and incredibly versatile.
