I love the fact that when you finish your eye makeup, you don’t put huge fake eye lashes on that end up blocking the eye look like a lot of other beauty KZbinrs do. I’m not trying to throw shade at them, but I feel like a lot of times, you can’t see what the eye makeup actually looks like as well. And I don’t wear false lashes, so I like to see how the eye makeup looks without lashes on.

Just want to say THANK YOU for always getting these videos up before launches. I have relied on your video reviews for CP releases probably to an unhealthy degree. I honestly CAN NOT feel good about purchasing new items from them without consulting you virtually first lol. I’m so happy to see another non-monochromatic palette from CP. I think this one, if it isn’t for you, is a great one you could recreate from singles or other palettes. Especially since CP alone has a lot of those macron purple/lilacs to offer!

ColourPop 'duping itself' is quite useful for those of us who live outside the US. It's not sold in physical stores here so it was harder to justify international shipping costs/times for the older limited releases (esp. when their product line was smaller)

I love what you said during the swatch comparisons about how not every palette is meant to be purchased by everyone. I think a lot of people definitely look at launches through the lens of what they already own and don’t consider how the company is catering to a huge market of people and not everyone is going to have those colors that you may think are overdone. I always try to explain this to people getting mad in trendmood comments haha

I think this is a lovely collection. I enjoy the color selection for the palette, and I do really like the velvet blur or ultra blotted look, so I think I might actually enjoy the lippie stix too. I also don’t have most of the palettes you chose to compare, so although it isn’t the most unique color story, I do think it is nice.

As usual, Amanda, you hit it out of the park with your review, and I love that you don't use filters too, unlike 90% of the other KZbin influencers! There's no one who does comprehensive, honest reviews like you do, the swatches are so very helpful. And, your voice is so soothing. I already own Garden Variety, URaQt, ABH Norvina, the Disney Princess palette, and several of the others you swatched, but darn, I still want this one to add to my vast collection. Love the eyeliners too, and that pearlized pink blush. Ugh, I'm just a sucker for new CP, and other drugstore (and some high end) makeup! 😂

I really like the palette, but I honestly just want Macaroon as a single. It's such a Jessica Rabbit purple. It looks great on you! It also looks a lot like that old SSS Cowboy or Daddy, can't remember which one was the pastel.

When I saw Colourpop’s promotion of this palette, I did a double take. My eyes were immediately drawn to this colorful, springlike palette. So when I saw your video on this collection, I knew I had to watch it! Your eye look is really beautiful, Amanda! I also love the colors you used on your cheeks! The only color I wish they had was a bright spring green. But maybe that’s because I can’t stop staring at your gorgeous green/gold shifting nail polish!

Not my color combo, but I love that they did only shimmers and only mattes, not mattes with shimmers. Sounds like they really listened to customers! If CP does another version of Sweet Talk this way (only shimmers and non-shimmer mattes), I would buy it right away. Even tho I have Coast to Coral, Strawberry Shake, and Sigma's Cor de Rosa eyeshadow palette, lol. Still looking for the perfect no purples, no pressed giltters, no shimmery mattes, blush pink/pink/coral to dark brown palette.... I'll prob have to make a customized palette by depotting in the end.

Yeah, would love some fun shades since they were all neutrals in those 2, no fun pops of colors. I also feel like CP is missing out on releasing more creams tho in general, they pretty much did the sheer blushes (which were all sheer warm/neutrals). But that's just my opinion. They have such amazing formulas too.

I like that they put out a lot cuz I don’t like everything. But because they do so much, they should be taking more of a risk. Like do the boring, safe stuff but mix in some more fun and adventurous stuff more often. I have only bought a few palettes from colourpop this past year. I have moved on to more interesting brands but still like to see what they come out with each week.

Wow! I was surprised how similar Lovely was to Garden Variety! I never would have thought they were so similar! The only major different is the Lovely palette has the pastel purple shade and Garden has a white, and the Lovely palette has the dark burnt Orange shade and the Garden palette has a medium brown shade. Other than that aside from the Garden palette having mattes with glitters instead of true mattes, they were surprisingly similar!! Just goes to show how much your comparisons help!! 🙏

The moment I saw this, I thought this is the It's a Princess Thing with a pop of lilac and a soft coral. And I was right. I was tempted to buy this but seeing that the Disney palette has more vibrant golds and silvers, and I have a lilac and coral in another palette, there's no need to 🤭

The quality seems to be there for this release. I'm very happy that it has a mix of colors & shades. It's very Spring/ Summer to me. IMHO, it looks similar to the new Jouer Riviera palette, & 1/2 the price. 💜

I loved this at first glance!! Then waivered a bit because of the pastel lilac shade and the brick reddish shade I wish was more brown than red. I wish there was a med deep berry and med blue violet. But, the swatches are beautiful and maybe I could add to create more perfection...🤔 it's so hard to decide! I'm starting to play with makeup again after some mostly bare face years and newer to colourpop. I have garden variety and limoncello, 2 cpxrbk super shocks, one ss blush and one blush stick. When I saw a picture of this palette in another video, I thought that it had browns in it - but it was just a bad angle, the colours didn't look anything than what they're truly are. If it was possible to have some of these shadows as singles, I would instantly pick "Topanga Blvd", "Collective", "Tea Time" and "Dream Catcher", as they would make up a gorgeous quad. But they should've included one more deeper shade instead of one, maybe some darker, reddish purple to go with the lilac shade or possibly cool purple shimmer - I don't know, just something to amp it up just a little bit. And this is the constant problem with CP's palettes, there's always something missing every single time, be it depth or colour variety. Oh, just came to mind: a duochrome! From purple to red or something similar which would go well with most of the matte shades. Has CP ever done duochromes or multichromes? Now I am giving them ideas...
