When I was a kid in the 60s, we had a Readers digest 7 Lp collection and this was on the western one. Memories. Wabash Cannonball was, too.

My Dad has that same guitar. Not dark brown though. He's had it for maybe 40+ years and it was old when he got it. Still sounds amazing.

I really enjoy Colter Wall's music but does this not sound almost entirely like he's playing "Me And Big Dave"?
@nickmeuters99875 жыл бұрын
François-Marie Arouet I think that’s what I appreciate the most about old cowboy songs, and Colter’s music. The storytelling is the most important part, and the music is a simple backing for the story.
@truthfinder24775 жыл бұрын
Yeah man. That happens in music sometimes. You know, like how twinkle twinkle little star and tge ABC song are completely different songs, but they sound the same.. Try not to take the music in so technically. Its all about the story and how it makes you feel.
@connordelaney91214 жыл бұрын
truth finder would anyone confuse Devil Wears a Suit and Tie for Sleeping on thr Blacktop or Kate McCannon though? His first album was so unique and powerful, the last two and this upcoming one are just so sleepy and retreads. His first EP combined that feel with something new and entirely him

Wonderful voice & guitar-ing! But, maybe find some songs with better lyrics?
@alan4sure3 жыл бұрын
That song is probably 80 or more years old and is about the western cowboy lifestyle. It has stood the test of time.
