That gal sawing that fiddle like it owes her money . Awesome job on a great song .

Kinda mixed metaphor there, Dave. Trying to saw it in half or beating it like it owes her money.

i mean to tell ya! she’s goin at that thing like it’s her last chance and her mommas life is on the line. she made me want to give fiddle playin another shot. i heard that playin and i have a good fiddle i just don’t know much about fiddle playing. i’ve been a guitar picker all my life. i’ve lost sleep getting these colter wall guitar parts right! they guy can make a chord sound like so much is going on. sometimes it’s just flat out complicated and other times i just over complicate it in my head. lol but sure enjoy playing these songs. i don’t want to sound just like him i want to sound like me. i just wish me sounded as good as him. hahaha

This is the "Country Music" that should be on the radio... Not that pre manufactured Nashville bullshit we are forced to hear daily.

I've adored Townes van Zandt's music ever since I discovered it as a young kid, and this is a fine cover of one of his many great songs. Didn't know Colter covered him until I stumbled on this!

As long as there’s grain elevators, feed lots and livestock transport (and other such things), there will be real Country and Western music somewhere a long way from Music Row.

I like Colter wall and all but im not too fond of this version of white Freightliner blues. It feels too relaxed. I feel like if he picked up the tempo just a tiny bit and had more energy it would be more suited to my taste. I'm more familiar with the JD Crowe and the new South version so maybe that's why I'm more acustumed to the upbeat bluegrass sound.
