Exactly Kawasaki Vertol 107 built under licence in Japan in 1963. Sold to Royal Thaï army from 63 to 1976. Sold after to Columbia. Pristine condition 😮

To be cleat the Columbia 107 only means Columbia owns it, it's a Boeing helicopter. I saw the helicopter and thought it odd that I've never heard of this model but it looks a lot like the Boeing helicopter and that's because it is a Boeing helicopter. I read the wikipedia page about Columbia and even on their it says they operate 17 Boeing 107 Vertols.. I used to see Chinooks as a kid in the 70's, they were developed from the 107. One thing that struck me about the Chinook seeing them as a kid is how fast they are. As helicopters go the Chinook is very fast 300 kmh/160 kn/180 mph, the 107 while slower is pretty fast too.

Aircraft registrations can change when aircraft are sold or transferred between countries. It's common to see aircraft with registrations from different countries operating worldwide. However, the helicopter appears to still be owned by the Bank of Utah according to the registry! 🚁✈️
