Exactly!! the stuff you see in the media is never the complete truth. Especially when it deals with blacks & their history in America. And you should know this IF you black!?! This is the same story for "holidays". Most of holidays don't represent us or benefit us, we just take the advantage of being off work & getting together to have fun & eat. Lastly, you comment: "Do they have anything for blacks to do there". First of all, who is "they"? And there's a large community of blacks that live in Columbia, Tn just like a lot of other places in America. Soooo, what exactly are you asking? Columbia has developed a lot over the years and it offers ALL races the opportunity to enjoy the "small town life".
