Columbia University in NYC is preparing for commencement ceremonies, which begin today in Uptown at the Baker Athletics Complex, and not on the school lawn where it's typically held. FOX 5 NY's Briella Tomassetti has the details.

The theft of the Steamship plans in the 18th century caused a developing Trade connection between Kansas City and Savannah Georgia to fail. With the need for natural rubber, Savannah Port would be the receiver, importing from Africa, and sending cargo up the Mississippi River to Minnesota, by way of Kansas City. Minnesota, then, was the destined producer of the Automotive Industry. Soybeans for Plastic from the Midwest and Steel, Kansas City was to become a powerful port connection on the River. But the Steamship was needed to expedite. The highest tier of the Russian underworld is suspected of intercepting the rubber trade from Savannah, after the disruption caused by the stolen Steamship plans. As such, a line of work became or unrecognizable in Minnesota. A connection wasn't made. This offset the development in Savannah Georgia. New Orleans was a parallel Sister City to Savannah Georgia and as such, automatically compensated for the change in Savannah. This change, caused a slight identity crisis in New Orleans that wasn't quite picked up on.
