Here’s my review of Columbo Episode 4, Suitable For Framing. Art critic Dale Kingston kills his uncle, despite knowing his uncle’s art collection will go to his aunt Edna Mathews, but all because he intends to frame her for the murder. Great review. I actually think the music when Columbo turns up in the final scene was outstanding.

That gotcha is so great, when he pulls out the gloved hands and Dale who is trying to lie his way out, and then he falls off and seems like he’s ready to start crying, just brilliant.

The camerawork and music at 2:52 is immediately reminiscent of the Night Gallery series by Rod Serling. Overall not my favorite Columbo but a very solid episode with a great cast and gotcha ending. 4/5.
