Tim and the guys are great people. That roundhouse is also the largest mortise and tenon framed building in the world.

Nice program. Seems Ohio has it's own Huell Howser. It's wonderful Jerry Jacobson was able to plan beyond himself, so this didn't turn into a Steamtown catastrophe.

Wish Ohio Central Railroad will bring back occasional steam excursions in the future.

I wonder when we can expect to see lake superior and Ispeming 33 and morehead and North folk 12 running trains on the ohio central? I hope sometime this year the last steam locomotive that ran on the ohio central was way back in 2014 or 2015 when Canadian Pacifc 1293 pulled a photo freight train for some photographers and hasn't run since i just hope she'll steam again in a few years because 1293 is my favorite steam locomotive of all time my number 1 favorite

Hey Evan! If I'm not mistaken the last REAL Steam powered "op" on the OC was back in 2001 to ??? with GTW 6325 and CP 1293, and something tells me this is incorrect, but on the OC none the less. As far as ANYTHING ACTUALLY running on whomever's trackage in the area in relation to AoSTR's livery, good luck with that! One has to understand that the AoSTR is a non-profit 501-c3 entity, meaning that the Federal Government dictates what happens to the "entinth" degree of the care and feeding of this facility, plus paying those involved a salary to keep everything within the confines of the above mentioned non-profit ordinances and multi-other things which I know nothing about in top "operating" condition, yet in a static display. But with that being said, the Feds pretty much own the place and I can pretty much guarantee, that the Fed's have ZERO interest in operating an "excursion" no matter what. Does it suck? You bet!, but it beats having these beautiful examples sitting outside awaiting some a-hole with too much "temporary" money and wants to re-build 'em...run 'em until the cash runs out, (which the "industry" is, and has been famous for before there was dirt). Anybody personally know Jeff Bezos?

@@1chuck96 The "Feds" do not own the place. Mr. Jaconson left a very nice trust fund in place to keep it operational for years to come.
