It could not be compiled and warned that need to password for compile for Siemens side. I did exactly the same what you did but S7-1500, Tia Portal V16. Appreciate all your support.

I am using TIAV17, and I just try to download the new files from the support link, I don't have any issues, it does not need password.

When I download for V16, it is working. But it is for S71200. I did exactly the same like in video but for S71500. It could not be downloaded to plc. Need to compile but not possible without password

yes, this is the exactly the case shown in the video, S7-1200 runs as Profinet master to control the ET200SP, mean time communicates as Ethernet/IP device.

Hi , thanks for this tutorial, I am trying to use this method with S7-1517 and compctlogix, I can't establish the communication, the Valid status of the FB is always False the code is 7603, can any one advice, thanks in advance.

Hi, any reason why after importing EDS into Rockwell Studio while adding the module it only shows S1200 and S1505 and no S1500 PLC?

Are you asking the option shown in the video 20:26? If you can not see the S7-1500, I would recommend using another computer and Studio5000 for a try.

Micrologix doest support EtherNet/IP Scanner and Adapter. But if you can try to use ModbusTCP, Micrologix runs as Modbus TCP Server, Siemens runs as Client. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hqXcaZh4a7N3m5Y. Please check if your Micrologix support Modbus TCP, old version doest support

Compile failed "LCCF_EnetAdapter (FB1) - The block can only be compiled with a valid password". Any comments on how to acquire the password?

I used it in couple of applications and was not get this password issue. Do not open this FB, just use it and compile at your project level instead of the FB inside.
