You think the electronics and chassis could be modified onto another casting?

The base unscrews pretty easily, and some of the Hot Wheels RC bodies do match up. But the main snag I see to adding a diecast or other body is the plastic body holds the front axle. So you can’t make the wheels drive around without a body. You’d have to figure that out.

The reason that RC Hot Wheels fly's off the track is because there is not enough high bank curves on every turn, I would put high bank turns every where on that layout.

They have changed the design as well. Now it needs only 2 batteries And can be charged using a usb A. Saves a lot.

Do you have to steer through the corners on the track? Also, does the car move like a regular Hot Wheels car would if it is not being powered? Down the ramp for instance…

Hey, you don’t have to steer when on track. I don’t anyway. Because it’s an RC, I wouldn’t suggest putting it through boosters or down hills. It might damage it. I was being a little risky at the end with the drop in.

The boost they are referring to is a button on the controller that goes to max throttle, and the car steers like a tank in that the rear wheels spin in different directions to turn the car. And the throttle on the steering share power so it’s a very interesting dynamic. The funny thing is is that the white Buzz Lightyear controller is much better than the blue controller. But, the Buzz Lightyear trucks themselves are marginal.

Do you mean kicker loops? I try not to use kicker loops or anything that propels the cars with RC. I have some links in the description for different track sets I took pieces from. Also Dollar Tree has some pieces, if they have Dollar Trees near you. Hot Wheels recently came out with a new track set for RC (Amazon exclusive), that essentially does what I do in my videos. I'm hoping to review it soon.

They need to make the curve walls a little higher. Also, it is the same as a slot car track. The cars just keep jumping off the track. The only redeeming function is, you can drive it on the floor without the track.

RC hot wheels? That was done before, way back in the early seventies it was called 'sizzlers' But, It was charged by a gas pump called ' the juice machine ' not an RC controller.
