Careful of the Daimler AC with the long 40mm. It’s looks long because it has a Littlejohn squeeze-bore adapter attached. It can penetrate the Panther’s side armour if it gets a shot in.

Das, just a wee tip (I'm no expert at any of the combat mission games) but in the situation you had where your panther couldn't see through the large hedgerow. sometimes the controls can be irritating however I find success with vehicles seeing through when you place the waypoint right on the hedgerow (on the side you want the tank on) it may look like the vehicle will expose itself however the tank will be able to see through. Sometimes moving right up to the hedgerow and setting a pause command for say 30 seconds then a reverse for the tank to have a peek and then pull back. Might have bagged you the Sherman when it was coming through the gap at the other side. I hope you will nail it on the next turn ! Good luck !

You can unbog a unit if you catch it before the next "go". Cancel all the unit's movements. give it a Reverse movement of about 20 feet then add any other movements you want. works about 85% of the time in my games.

The bogged vehicle didn't dismount because you had a vehicle move order active on it and it was still bogged. Infantry won't dismount with an active vehicle move order. You would have to cancel vehicle orders to dismount. I usually clear a bogged vehicle with a quick reverse order and then fast move order. Saved a lot of vehicles for me at least.

Love CM but...when will the new graphics engine have buildings cast shadows? It just looks so artificial .
