I think it’s Uggified and adorning it with implements is akin to JC Whitney on a 300 Gullwing but to each their own. These have always been modified… I say bastardized… to meet specific needs. That’s part of their intrigue. The plastic mags work great, BTW, and probably make a little less noise. DSA has metal mags but they’re cut down to five or ten rounds (I carry with a five rounder). I’m sure they’d sell them uncut for enough money.

It's not a modernized it's just a f a l. You don't hear AR guys saying Daniel defense is a modern M16 or BCM is a modern m4. Just like you're not a modern version of the child you were. Adding attachments in a quad rail doesn't make the gun brand new. 😂

Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it's good... the regular handguard does not allow me to mount front grip, proper sling, laser module and a flash light. Therefore, for a combat ready FAL I want a handguard that allows me to mount said things on it

@thefalguy9848Ай бұрын
30rd mags look cool. That's about it. Their spring wears out quicker, they are heavier and takes more time to properly handle them. 20rd mags are easier found, better spring tension and there are better pouch systems out there that take 20rd mags... But looking cool is winning half the battle as we all know 😂

Do you get alot of Snow where you live? I'm in Maine, and would love to know more about how FALs perform in frozen condition and gold up to winter moisture. Thanks again!
@thefalguy9848Ай бұрын
Yes and no. Yes because the short gas system is easy to run, more maneuverable and with the ability to mount suppressors on the 5/8x24 muzzle pitch, the short FAL carbine is a huge plus. However, if you want a traditional looking Para FAL the 16" standard length is the way to go. I got both and retain each in a different configuration. I do not get snow where I live now. 5.56mm and 7.62x51mm have different aspects in terms of their use. Both, with the right ammo, can be (emphasis on can be) good all-rounder platforms.
