A 65 Plane Raid is scheduled, so if B17's and B24's that's 650 Flight Crewmen. Even if you lost the entire squad of infrantrymen to save ONLY ONE Aircraft it's worth it. Problem when you are an infantryman is that you are a total Pawn on the Chess Board of War...

+Norman Witt Wrong. The man in "Hostages" was Eric Braeden or his real name was Hans Gudgast. Ken Berry also appeared in "Hostages" season 2 episode 20.

spacepatrolman - I get it, but it's still kind of wired, to do this through almost all the episodes? You into music, like play an instrument, write, have a degree, etc.? But your right, placement of the music and the right kind can really help make a show. They do a really good job of it in this series. I have a nephew out in California who works with a couple of composers for film, he says it’s a hard living/field to break into, and he has his masters in music.

Nephew is correct. I knew composers who were active in the movies going back to the 30s. It is an extremely hard business to enter. The composer might see a storyboard and never see the daily rushes in making the film. The composers work on a schedule and can not dwadle.

Those are not snipers,only sharp-shooters.A sniper i specially trained in marksmanship,camouflage,stalking,etc.A proper sniper would never select a tree,as it is too obvious.A proper sniper would camouflage himself,and his position,to not be detected,before stumbled upon.He could easily have wiped out the whole section,but the there would be no fun.This is the"Good"Americans vs the"Bad"Germans,so Saunders always gets through.Only replacements will normally not make it.....

There's ONE episode, about Saunders stalling a tank, where the tank crew's speech is subtitled. It really didn't help--and it blows the "you are there" character of the camera view, having all that text on screen. Besides, Saunders and his squad don't speak German! So it just gets weird...
