I just read Rick Prado's book and then stumbled across this interview. His book was one of the most interesting stories that I have read to date and I read about a book a week many times two books at a time. Mr. Prado is a true badass but you can tell that he has a humble side. Confident - hell ya due to being highly trained.

Just found Fugit's channel, two quick ones: 1) the low key, very subdued interview style is such a refreshing change, regardless of topic, and it truly is the best way to demonstrate your repsect for the interviewee (and viewer, for that matter) 2) It never ceases to make me smile when covert operators - military or civilian - describe their circumstances or assignments as "cool." It's easy to forget they were't born a case officer or ops, because by the time we see them, they so inhabit that persona, but the truth is most of these guys have the same "cool berometer" as the rest of us, it's just they've earned the responsibility of living it.

This is a great series of shows and the intrrviewer is very good at the job. Allows the guest to talk. From the moment i realised Prado was a Cuban emigre i knew what sort he was. His kind remind me of the muslim fanatics we get in the West: 2nd or 3rd gen eration looking back at the muslim motherland through rose coloureds. They become fanatics. Prado's parents knew the score, something he didnt. Communism liberated Cuba from gangsters and mafiosi. All the problems with Cuban economics is due to Amerucan bullyboy tactics. Their bullying failed. Castro outlived his enemies from Kennedy on. I am not a Red or even Social Demicrat, but i really admire Castro's Cuba for the spunk they have shown, standing up to the mist sinuster nation since NAZI Germany. Prado the foreigner speaks of defending the Amerucan rag from hipoues, at least those hippies were Americans and had a genuine grievance against their wicked governments. America the bully was defeated by the VC and has never recovered from that humiliation. Most people agree with the hipoues about it, today. As for Prado's comments about the Contras, loving freedom and God...what rubbish! They actually gaped American nuns, for God's sake. The Sandanistas were also the legal government of that land, chosen by the people. Reagan and his cronies were selling arms to Islamuc fanatics in Iran, a country that attacked the US embassy, there . The White House were traitors. CIA is out of control and has been for decades. Most of us view them as nothing but a bunch of criminals. Prado and his kind should be investigated and put out to grass.

Great show I mostly listen while driving. Please Remember far left and far right are 2 sides of the same coin. Both suck. My Uncle went across Europe under Patten to fight Facism. It sometimes seems like we lose sight of who and what the Greatest Generation was fighting. Life is about balance we need to get back to the middle.
