I love this. I struggled for years when my husband didn’t believe in God and raising two children while he was on the road working and then he would come home! and he did not believe in God and I was praying over our kids, home and my husband’s salvation. Continue to be that woman/wife/mom to stand in the gap and pray. While your husbands sleeping pray over him. Now 7 years later my husband gave his life to the Lord and is now a baby in Christ but Moms/wives you have the ability to pray for your home and kids no matter the situation. Lisa Bevere came across in a Facebook clip one day when I was overwhelmed with my kids screaming at them overwhelmed talking about her experience as a mom and her book Be angry but don’t blow it and that was my first time hearing this family and it changed my LIFE.

I have gone through chronic pain (degenerative disc disease and a pinched nerve) for so many years. I was in a car accident in 2004 and slowly my back started hurting. I went to the Chiropractor this year and she told me that I even had knots in my neck. Since then, my neck started hurting every single day. I am in shock as I see the similarities that Lisa went through and what I’ve been going through for years. I also wear a brace on my back. As I watch this episode I am being encouraged to not only believe that God is greater than the pain I feel but also I am encouraged to believe for healing and declare the Word of God until my healing comes! Please help me pray too! ❤

Wow! This was divinely timely as I am in a season of staying at home with my young son while my husband works and is in college full time. I was feeling like I was in lack, be it of time, energy or spiritual covering at times but I am both blessed and challenged by the Lord’s word to me through Lisa’s voice. I am grateful for Addison’s wisdom and love Juli’s perceptiveness. Thank you for your faithful deposit in to my home!

Wow..”God I have nothing, so I give you my nothing because I have no idea what I’m doing”…I am so blessed by this episode. They covered everything I needed to hear for the longest time. If that’s not God’s provision then I don’t know what is. Thank you - from the Philippines

Music: Taylor Swift- Even if the lyrics are fine, look at her belief system. Also, idolising is major problem these days. So lyrics, songwriter, and vocal artist background needs to be checked.

She ain’t even hiding anything in the lyrics anymore either. That chick is a witch and is pretty proud of it. The imagery she uses is not a coincidence either lol

I don't understand what you are saying?? Do you think she is good or no?? You say her lyrics are fine, I don't know I have never listened to any of her music. However I have heard her talking on a few interviews and she talks about God and how she is a Christian. Now when I look at her pictures from when she first came out, she was sweet, innocent and wholesome. Now the innocence is gone and the demonic has taken over!! Demons are everywhere around her in her stuff that I have seen.

I just am beyond thankful for God leading you all to do these podcasts! The Holy Spirit is so speaking! I appreciate your realness and honesty! I am a wife and mother of adult children. Been a believer for many years and you're helping to see new ways the Scripture teaches and leads our pathways in this day and time!

needed this episode…everything on point. Juli’s point is 100 % true that our kids take on the heaviness and emotions of the secular songs…I see it in my 18 yr old daughter. you are right about how emotional and heavy so many songs are lately i fully support any movement about no internet for teens until 16, I pray it gains a lot of momentum in the church and beyond it’s been a rough ride for us who have parenting teens through the advent of ubiquitous screens and unrestricted and unregulated internet access

What if I've already blown it? My son is living w/ me again w/ his many medical issues; I am in full on spiritual warfare here and this is so helpful. God did not bring him back under my roof to bring chaos. God brought him back b/c he needs healing and he needs to come back to Jesus.

Confess it to God. Receive God's forgiveness. Forgive yourself. Take authority over anything that got access to you or your family in Jesus' name. Command it to go!! The book unbound by Neal Lozano was super helpful for me.

My goodness, I'm only 15min into this and I'm already crying!! I am dealing with back issues and other things now, I know that fear all to well! I'm just learning about God and His healing. I have been healed from migraines, addiction and other things but NOT my back??? WHY??? I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong or what I'm not doing??? Well I have gotten a little bit of a healing because I am now up right and walking when doctors said I wouldn't, THANK YOU JESUS!!! Now I want the pain and everything else with it to go away, it still has a negative effect on my life.

Thank you so much for speaking about this! I’m really thankful that the Lord led Addison to speak about secular music. My husband and I have 2 teenage boys and one of them is very into rap music and instead of really having a conversation with him about why we don’t want him to listen to it so he can understand we just tell him no you can’t. & Lisa giving the idea to actually sit down and read the lyrics together with them so they can understand. & Juli explaining how you can take on the emotions of what you’re listening to. But all of you guys saying that everything isn’t bad and to not become legalistic about everything. Thank you guys so much! So much wisdom was shared during this & I’m so grateful!

Thank you so much! This episode and the how it should look in a home when Dad is not there anymore. I know how God has beautifully structured the family. But a family doesn’t always look like that. I hand been widowed twice. At this point I have an adult son who is married and has a child. And I’m again in the teenage years without their Dad. So I’m really relying on the Holy Spirit to help and direct me in training them. This is just a crazy world and it feels like there’s not enough about this age group in today’s world for the teens and for the parents of teens in these times. So thank you for bringing more to us on this topic. And keep bringing John and Lisa to the table

Thank you for this podcast. I was raised in a household that went to church every week, but had no relationship with God. It is TRULY a blessing to hear conversations about family life and issues families deal with from a godly perspective, as this type of thing was never talked about in our family. Thank you, thank you, thank you. For a topic idea, would you consider one about family/individual habits? I still have habits from growing up that direct me away from God and not to him, that I developed in my household growing up.

Thank you. I have a 21 year old daughter she ran off to a completely different lifestyle than what she was raised the lord is working I know it, during this time my 17 year old daughter has been listening to hip hop and I have read lyrics and pulled them up and shown her. She seems so hard but I know she knows truth but she seems now easily distracted and I have been praying differently. As I am learning with experience with my oldest daughter. But worry creeps in over the choices our oldest has chosen and still choosing. She is working but no drive, no future plans, and living with a man. We fear for our other daughter. She’s in rebellion and I know there is power in what you listen too. How do I navigate with her future plans of schooling and bettering herself with the on going choices of my oldest and my youngest?

I don't know how to explain it, but there are godly portals. I'd never used the term portal until I had a prophetic dream and when I woke up I knew God had opened a portal for me to go back and get something that I didn't get, but I couldn't stay there. All I could think about was that I needed to get what God sent me there to get so I could go back through the portal of my time. The portal closed, but because I knew I didn't belong there I commanded it to open and it did. I was able to get back to my time

Question: As a parent what do you do if you have adults living in your home who are going or whatching this that are given the enemy a foot hold, and hurting the house hold spiritually?
@asukamurase7 ай бұрын
Is there any chance you can discuss topics about raising children alone as a single parent, please also discuss all the labels that were placed to put shame in single parent households. E.g. children of single parent household will be drug addicts, alcoholics, etc and thus, this pastor stated "single moms, find a husband" as an answer / solution as to the kids not be in his evidence research as being drug addicts and alcoholics. How to address and discuss letting the child know that his father left and is not responsible enough to care. At what part of their life is appropriate to understand what happened to his parents and why there is only 1 parent around? and what part / time is it okay to share about the other parent and what should be left out? How to raise kids that can be leaders despite the situation and discuss about single parents life please would be greatly helpful. Thank you so much and love all your videos. I have learned a lot. Keep making videos to help us get more educated about the ways of Jesus and His life and how to live in our current world. Thank you once again.
