Pro tip: lava runes, mist runes, and law runes in a rune pouch will give you all but 2 teleports in the normal spell book. 1 click to bring it out of your bank and it provides you with almost all of the normal teleports. Super useful for getting around the game!

Mist runes are high due to normal spellbook pking for entangles, and god spells or fire wave. The cheapest combination to get all 4 elementals is lava, and mist.

Lava runes are a good rune slot in a rune pouch when you're using alchs and bones to peaches on certain tasks. Using Lava + Water is much cheaper than Fire + Mud.

Lava runes are very useful for gwd because you can put water, nature and lava runes in your rune pouch so you can cast bones to peaches and high alch aswell

Dust runes are to best for me - Saves an inventory spot for house teleports when you do NOT need a teletab. And when doing a dust devil task you get a ton of them.

I buy dust runes and make my own steam runes, so I can have law, air, water, earth, and fire in my pouch for teles. It's so nice, love these runes.

Mist Rune + Lava Rune probably easier (and the ones I use) as they're both cheap as mist are from Kraken/Mages + 3gp Lavas

personally i use steam battlestaff and dust runes anywhere i go unless dangerous (dust staff snd steam runes then) to have every type of elemental rune for the least inv slots and gp per cast

Nope. The combo staves are drops only. The air/fire staff (smoke staff) is a very rare drop and costs 2.5mil.

For clue hunting I bring law + dust runes in a pouch, with a steam staff. Then you have quick access to just about every teleport on standard at a minimum price.

Didn't realise mud runes were so expensive, could be a decent money maker using the Lumbridge teleport and the RFD bank to run to the water altar in the swamp. Never heard of anyone doing this.

but there's still the cost of binding necklaces/runes for magic imbue + the earth talismans. Also, the water altar is a bit far, especially if you're going from lumby and not draynor. If you're glory teleing to draynor, might as well glory tele to edge and make nats

Theoatrix fails again. If you're rcing with magic Imbue, while you don't need the talisman, you still need runes as a substitute to the talisman.

actually, he explained just before that part that you need the opposite rune in order to combine them. he never said that you don't need the runes with magic imbue
