I always put some little blocks on the inside of the airframe Chris to screw the servo screws into and soak the area with thin Cyno once I have screwed them in obviously then remove and soak the area with thin cyno and leave it to dry good to go 👌 coming along great Chris 😉💪

Well I think I will be able to glue some small blocks or a thin layer of ply, can do this through the servo holes. I was thanking that as the servos are lying on the ground of the balsa, this should help the servo not to move under torque. But I will still strengthen them😀. Have a fun week ahead with your build 🫡

Chris looking great, mistake? When working with balsa there aren't any mistakes, just straying from the plans. Jeff in LA USA

Like your style Jeff, I guess we could say I am putting my own stamp on the design 😂. Have a great week ahead buddy. 🫡

Looking good. I think I would’ve put a thin plywood backer behind the balsa where the servals were mounted. Keep up the good work.
@DadsRCHangar2 ай бұрын
I can still do this, I will use the servo holes and glue in, I was thinking of doing that, but forgot 😀. Thanks for your input Joe, you have a great week ahead. 🫡

@ I would also add blocks for the servo screws. Balsa blocks reinforced with CA in the holes would be fine.

You can lift the dints out of the balsa by wetting them the wood swells up when you do. 😊
