Reddit: "How to kill my neighbor's dog without them knowing? I need a license to buy poison. Please help, it barks all and day all night." Comment: "Some foods are poisonous to dogs but they'd have to eat loads to die from it. You'd have to give it half a Christmas pudding to do the job properly"

That sure looks like a Sparrow Hawk bird of prey! Kestrels have striped makings I think 🤔

I’ve got 20 no fence collars and they are amazing. However the newest version which I have are having software problems and waiting a update. But I’d highly recommend them. Mine are being rotated around a 227 acre rough grazing field. I always keep the boundary away from the wall to stop them rubbing and knocking them over. You’ll only need a couple of chargers and a weeks worth of charging to begin with. The solar panels work so much better than I thought they would.

You ought to get the person who created your pH maps to use the colours of the pH scale the other way round so red-acidic needs the most lime, yellow-slightly acidic needs less and green-neutral doesn’t need any. It would make it easier to understand. I find it does, anyway. Well done for pointing out the importantance of keeping the pH correct!

If your sprayer can do liquid Fert and you have GPS switching, I can't think why you wouldn't. Been through the same dilemma on tanks as we have 1,000 acre arable and farms 2 and 7 miles away. Original idea to have a tank at each farm but ended up with 3 at main farm (in a single bund). Doubt you would need to tanker on a trailer, we don't. Liquid Fert so much easier, travel time is minimal compared to moving and handling bags. We also sank 45,000 litre water tank underground (originally for firewater for new sheds) and fill Horsch sprayer from 3" line (suction pump sprayer). 10 mins to fill 4,000 litres. I was in past your shop for steak yesterday!

Agree with your comment, we have multiple farms with multiple tanks on each. Longest trip is 8 miles. Don’t bother with a tanker. Have one we can put on a flatbed and a 2inch pump. Used it once in 7 years. Do have an 8000 and 6000l sprayers which help with capacity

Alright Crawford, love the videos, a question for you this is not for me but for another young willing young farmer, would you be willing to take on a an apprentice/young person wanting to start out in farming? It would really help them get a start into farming.

Pretty sure the bird was a sparrow hawk, there is a lot of them in Central Scotland. I saw a eagle the other day just sitting on a fence post while driving through the countryside. Amazing the wildlife we have ! Great video as always!

I take it that was charcoal powder for it works that way even for humans externally for bee stings, snake bites an any where there's poison via a poultice or ingested for stomach an so on but sounds very similar if not the same.

The hovering bird was a kestrel. It’s the only British bird that truly hovers although buzzards will fly into the wind and use it to hover for a short time

The liquid you gave to Baxter - liquified carbon to bind the toxins. Note for the day - keep Labradors away from anything edible that you don't want them eating. 🤣 And the hovering bird was a Kestrel. 😁

That gps fencing would suit me very well, looking to set my farm as low maintenance as possible for my mum and she only has tops 13 cows and 30 sheep which are all winter housed ( giving time to re charge ) will have to consider them cause we are currently looking at getting a lot of fencing done

We put elec cables in the ground. They let us dig the trench and just came and connected it. Obviously it's a lot cheaper, and you can do it when you need to, but we weren't in the middle of harvest... Great video as always!! God love a labrador...😊

I might have missed it but have you thought about collecting rain water off of the shed roof for the cattle to drink? Would take the pressure (and cost) off of the mains supply With burying the power cable, surely the only reason is so you can put a digger bucket through it so that you have collected the full set
