combing out my locs | After 7 YEARS! | No cutting | FGG Customs

I am finally ending this journey to start a new one.
I have had these locs since 2015 and I am finally going to start over!

I am using a dental pick and it's working fine for me. Three years loc'ed, and I miss my loose natural.

Good luck😮 Id definitely recommend a rat tail single pick. It took me maybe 5 days consecutively.

Great video. I took 4 of my Locs down due to them being Damaged. I tried to get lint and build up out. When I say 1 loc took sooo long to remove. I got so frustrated and just cut the locs at the new growth....lol I was like this is too much. If I get rid of my Locs Completely I will do a low fade. No coming out for me.

Noooooo. Take your time! You can save soo much hair ‼️ Now I did get frustrated too 😂 But thats when you stop and take a break for a day 😂😂

Had mine for the same amount of time. i had cut them from waist length to collarbone due to the heat. Now im just over it 😂 ill start the journey again after i let my hair breathe a while.

I plan to comb my locs out next year. I hate short hair on me, so I don't want to cut them before combing them out. My hair is really thick, too. I'll have to make a video. Yours looked as long as mine are, but I've cut them twice in 13 years, and they've grown back.

When you were brushing your hair and even tho it was detangled it was still popping and snapping at the end that made me cringe 😭 I’m so glad I decided to loc my hair omg I just can’t deal with the detangling and hair shedding and the pain

Just starting combing out after 4 years and it takes me so long just to do one 😭 and where sis you get the comb you was using to comb them out

me too. I was using this dog flea comb because it was metal and fine but I eventually went to a weeding tool from cricut 😂😂 it turned an hour a loc to about 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend

So we are brushing out my boyfriends locs he’s had them for 8 years and they are about to his butt it’s taking 2 hours per dread and we are STRUGGLING

It took me about 2-3 weeks to take mine out . I skipped a few days but I used a dog rat tail comb and it worked so much better. Definitely recommend a rat tail comb . it will be soo much quicker
