Glitter tip: let the full satin stitch stich out around tbe number (don't cut after placement stitch). It will puncture the glitter enough to tear right off and save the cutting step!

Since I sew, my habit is always to wash my fabric before hand. But I have noticed that my appliqués don’t look as sharp. Do you pre-wash your cotton fabrics before you use them in your appliqués? YES from my experience. I've been buying flamingo fabric from hobby lobby for 2 years. The same one. If it's a big seller is best to buy a whole bolt instead of a few yards

Heat transfer vinyl is like plastic sheet,its can be cut into your desired shapes either with scissors or with electric cutter called (cricut)and heat press to adhere at the shirt or any fabric,etc.

LOVE the Pattern Vinyl!! Add this to my Fabric and Thread addiction lol! When you bought the pattern vinyl did you also purchase the "CAD-CUT Patterns Mask" that says to "Use with Stahls' CAD-CUT® Patterns heat transfer vinyl to remove the material's carrier and prepare your design for heat printing." I wasn't sure if it was something that I actually needed in order to use it. Thanks a bunch!!

You only need the mask if you are going to use it as HTV to place onto a shirt... if your only going to use it for embroidery like I did in this video then no you dont need it!

are you talking about the plu fabric?. It wont tear up your maching but it may perferate the bib. Put a water soluable stabilizer over it to belp protect.

Yo soy de Paraguay, es el Heat Transfer Vinyl with patterns o vinil textil de transferencia de calor con patrones, lamentablemente por lo menos aquí en Paraguay no lo encontré, tal vez en Argentina si lo haya. De lo contrario tenés que mandar a traerlo por Amazon. Aquí el que si hay en algunos colores es el vinil textil glitter. Buena suerte.

If it is a fabric I can use on a lot of different designs then I buy a. yard.... if it a fabric im only going to use for 1 design then I get either a quarter yard or half yard!

Yes only glitter works since it is thicker!

Some other styles of htv work too. They are harder to work with because they are thin when removed from their carrier.

@@littlemissblueyes100 I used a bedroom pink. It wasn't really hard to work with but after pressing it, it wrinkled up a little. After washing the shirt out came off like the vinyl was cut off the shirt by the stitches

I think your have alot of great advise and very passionate in what you doing. I am intetested and trying to watch videos..however the camera in this video and others getting me nausea because camera jerking around and find sometimes talking a bit fast or off topic.
