Btw if anyone was wondering, in one of his first runs, he got climb the cheese rocks and said it was impossible, but In a later run, he got the moon, it was proven possible in between the two streams

I feel like it'd be a really unpopular category, as only 1 in 50 Runs can actually reach Bowsers, so on average you'd need to play for 50+ Hours to get one finished run wich is really bad

Holy peck. This must have been insanely tough- for a legit speedrun challenge this would be a really tough one to get a WR on and yet there’s still a way to always get better times. It’s all based on the birb- so there’s always some room to improve. Good luck to anyone else who does this challenge… you’re gonna need it. Mostly in Luncheon.

Maybe the rule to un-softlock yourself would be that you still need to get the moons that require capturing, but effectively it doesn't count at all. Like, neither the moon, nor the capture required for that moon

So I wonder what could be done for this run to make it more enjoyable? Nobody likes a frustrating and random speedrun category so what can we do about Luncheon Kingdom? Perhaps you get one 'free capture' in Luncheon? This might make it easier to get some moons that are possible but difficult. Perhaps you can allow people to grab any moons once talkatoo locks out? You'd probably be crossing your fingers for three locked moons ASAP but it's random so you can't game that system. Maybe you are allowed only the captures necessary for world peace? or just the meat capture? This would give the player 3-8 moons for 'free', lowering the chance of a lockout. This would essentially be the same as someone discovering some shortcut to the top of the volcano, much like CRC's.
