Hey, rusty magneto player here. I had a combo back in the day that I don't see. I thought it was amazing. Chunked hard. dash in > low 3 2 for lift. storm assist as you 2 > dash df, 4 (both fierce attacks and a reset when they get caught in storms tornado. down 3, 2 for lift. jump (in air) 1,3,1 delay, 1,3,1,3 dash 1,3,1,3 > weak hyper grab > frozen nuggets. Also, does anyone use rogue anymore?

I would only use magneto with storm as a tag and have either psylocke or rogue as my third just in case i fkd up lol. I couldn't go all out on them or they wouldn't play

It’s the closest you can get to the Sega Naomi arcade version. All other versions included fixes for certain bugs and balance changes.

The closer you get to the arcade version the better. That goes for almost all old fighting games. Especially with the fact that many ports of old fighting games were intentionally changed or came out worse like with Marvel 2 and Super Turbo.

@@ItEm55 True you can just use a loose Naimi setup with a Supergun but a Dreamcast is better for this instance. People have to drag this in and out of the venue and a Dreamcast with DCHDMI and Brook controller converters take up less space and weight.

@humaneshadowx71 lol dude. the movement, punishment ability, ive seen certain top players enough to the point where i know if yipes, chunksta, soo mighty, khaos, chris schmidt, and xecutioner are the ones playing because of their movement, execution, and aggressive play style. for lame play and basic style its noticable when its neo and justin wong. and for trap specialists you have duc do, locdown, and clockwork. then you have vdo who makes a low tier team contend with those top tier teams. if you are just a casual watcher then you wont be able to tell the difference on any of them. its not like in umvc3 where the uniqueness is in the character selection. mvc2 is its own beast. it hasnt been matched in hype nor significance by any other titles in its series.

But in this game specifically, the characters even lose one of the different special attacks, like the up spiderweb throw for example, and the possibility of using the strong normals alone, they can only be used in a combo. For me, this is an awful way to destroy a really good game.
