My heart is full. By the way, there was a giant red letter “P” on the front Chinoiserie panel. I was shocked to see this and they scrambled to call in a cake decorator. My friend was able to pick up and bring to the party. Sad that it wasn’t there as I set-up the buffet. This cake was a huge part of my budget and vision. It all worked out in the end.

Oh - no wonder the original cake was such a disappointment! While you acknowledged how you felt about it, you did a fine job redirecting your focus on setting up the rest of your party. And you know what? If you notice in the video how many times you used that cake plateau to hold items while you worked on that side table, I think it was actually a good thing the cake - in all its corrected glory - arrived later! And this incident was a great example to your viewers - unforeseen glitches can happen so just delegate and roll with the punches. Not often do viewers actually see something this play out as it did in your video. So, while it would have been great for you on your special day to have the cake as ordered, I think your video was actually more educational to viewers this way. Thank you for sharing what must have been a challenging video to create. You truly took lemons and turned them into lemonade!

I was surprisingly calm that morning looking at the "Scarlet Letter P" they placed on the front Chinoiserie panel. Just could not believe it after such time and expense. The cake cost almost as much as the luncheon for 20. Oh, well. They fixed it and my friend drove it across town just in time.

Your comment about the wrong design on your cake made me smile. When we got married the In-laws carried our cake from Yorkshire. On arrival I asked ‘how does it look?’. Nobody had opened the box! I felt sick imagining ‘Happy Bar Mitzvah Benny’ frosted on our cake and how embarrassing for poor Ben who was going to be congratulated on his wedding. All was well but it was a warm moment. You will plan our next party PLEASE😂😂
