Come Boating Winter Adventure Series : "Regatta in Paradise" with Art Paine

On Tuesday December 17th, 2024 the first program in the Come Boating Winter Adventure Series series featured a presentation by Art Paine titled, "Regatta in Paradise".
Every year Art Paine and his wife Carey escape the winter blahs by helping organize the famous Family Islands Regatta in the Bahamas. These unique, roughly built wooden boats, traditionally used for fishing and commerce gather each spring to race each other for cash prizes and has grown into an event with a hundred beautiful sailboats.
