Please don’t read Heir until you’ve read all of AEITA as it will spoil the series for you - Heir is set 20 years after AEITA and involves the characters from the original series. It makes me so happy to see you selected some LitFic, especially Sally Rooney and Coco Mellor's latest and greatest. I also have them on my physical TBR, ready to be grabbed. Also, I am 3 chapters into The Dagger and the Flame and I am loving the world it's set in so far (it gives me 1800s Jack the Ripper London vibes). Yes. From what I heard it straight up spoils the ending to An Ember in the Ashes series, so if you want to read it then you should 100% read it before Heir.

Hey there. Im very excited to see what you think of Ember in the ashes. Its a Fantasy, not Romantasy, but i really enjoyed it. Also, i listened to the Audiobooks from the library, and i think it helped me keep all the characters straight, i sometimes dont love that about fantasy, the multi POV. Anyway, just a heads up, The Heir takes place in the same world, but after the events of the original series. I suggest you finish the original series first to avoid possible spoilers. 😊
