I hate how Dez is all like, I can't wait to see Deb's face when she has REAL mexican food. Dude, she never pretended to make it better than you or the locals. If anything, it's a compliment to the cuisine that a foreigner liked it so much that they thought they'd offer it to their guests in chance of impressing them. She's not born in the culture, she just likes it, that doesn't mean she is inferior to you or anything. Right, how hard is it to buy pre-made and call it authentic food (though she would have to spend a few days to make an authentic mole, so maybe certain shortcuts are permissible, but not the whole foundation of the dish. I would say though, I find it pretentious when the contestants ask whether someone made their own bread, filo dough of puff pastry. Do o you also have to raise your own chickens or go hunting to score points?

He should have been more gracious but I think the producers of this show were egging them all on to be mean and rude to spice up the otherwise flat content. Kathleen was the ONLY ONE who wasn't acting like a complete child (I also feel some sympathy for Debbie). This has easily been one of the worst selections of people you could have thrown together on this show. The only kudos I will ever give to Carson is that thankfully he split the cash prize. That should be some emotional compensation for 5 awful nights of cliches, temper tantrums, and bullying.
