I really liked Louise's outlook on whether she wins or not, "It doesn't matter as long as the evening is great". That's the outlook everyone should have. She tried really hard to serve delicious food. That's all that really matters Effort an enjoying the company and having a good happy time. Coming in first or best doesn't really mean nothing in the grand scheme of life. Nanna is WRONG!!!! I'm glad Robbie won.

It's amazing how women get categories so easily but men get a pass. I see it on all the comments on this show. There are a few labels I could add to these men but I won't because I refuse to. Yet people love to shit on the women. Why don't we simply shit on the winging person?
@gemmaartner2780
@gemmaartner2780 3 жыл бұрын
@@Oddbisket nope, don't love to shit on women. But more than happy to call out shitty behaviour, regardless of sex. If we don't call out this behaviour things won't change, and believe it or not, having boobs doesn't mean that you stand above critisicm. Just like if I was being an utter cow people should tell me about it, not be scared to because I don't have an adams apple. People need to take responsibility for their own action and not hide behind the 'woman' card. Men and women should and can be called out when they are being assholes.
@Oddbisket
@Oddbisket 3 жыл бұрын
@@gemmaartner2780 take some notes over the comment section of shows that have pigs of both genders. The men regularly get a pass in the comment section. Don't get me wrong that woman was a pig, I won't defend her. But the pattern of how hard people are on the females exists. I think maybe because society is wired to judge women that they may even feed into it in there editing. I'd love to know it there is a term for that. Anyway have a great day

- "in fact no no for anything involving strangers". Um, isn't that most social media? I believe occasionally politics comes up on Twitter. But seriously, at a diner party I think it's fine and even more interesting to bring up politics and religion, but you have to be careful how you frame it. And more restrained, especially if you're the host. I had not issue with Nana's raising of the topic here. She was pretty diplomatic.

Nana’s physically beautiful, but her interior overshadows that. She’s definitely adept at spinning conversations to suit her, but her mocking of others is so rude. “Ghap yah” was no different than her distinction of having her her name likened to a Nan. I thought Nanna, as well the others, was truly a lovely person. Nanna's honesty is refreshing. I find no fault with anyone who tells the truth and they should not feel the need to apologize for honesty. Nanna presented her honesty forthrightly in a gentle and kind manner. An adage says, if you cannot say anything nice, then say nothing at all, is a good rule of thumb, but I have learned that a real friend, or a person to cultivate for friendship, is the person that will tell you the truth, and sometimes the truth is not nice, but better the truth than a lie, and anything other than the truth IS a lie.

I hope you at least know the name cuz his effect on life as we see it is pretty frckin important. Your post implied that she had to be personable to be in pr. A garbageman has as much need to be personable in all reality. Public Relations has as much to do with relating to the public (in a positive way at least) as a 'Sanitation Technician' has studied up on pollutants and their effects on the ph balance of the soil of the nearby habitat. PR is nothing more that marketing, advertising and branding.. Yet, is so much more because it has taken them over. It is why you NEED that caramel macchiato. Why it not only gives you that 'extra step you need in the morning' but also helps define the character your portraying to the people around you in this manipulated world of desire we live in. If ya understood pr, you would understand that she has the perfect personality for the job. If she read the comment section she would know that she could sell skincare products to approximately 14% of the audience. If they targeted their campaign, maybe hook up with a grocer and did a combine ad on this cooking show, or product placement in a teaser, something of the sort, they could push it closer to 20%. Well, hope your humored if nothing else. 😉 really thou, even if ya didn't get anything else out of it, humor me plz. Next time your at the store (buyin a car, surfing amazon, getting another streaming service) and think ya need something, just stop n think about it for a sec n think about how much ya really need it. Just for a sec. Ty 😊 Anyway, word, good chat.

The way she loves being the center of attention as she rejects, criticizes & finds fault with every offering while silmutaneously insulting the others (age thing) and passing judgement (politics/decor/posh-ness) is telltale narcissistic signaling. The message is 'I'm going to behave like a giant ass and you have to pretend to be pleased and be nice to me or YOU will be rude'. So hateful.

Because she won’t try new things to a point where it’s obnoxiously controlling. She’s very judgemental and then judges Nick as someone who looks down on “certain people” which stinks to high heaven of hypocrisy. She’s mad controlling and her unwillingness to compromise is bordering on psychotic. Imagine going on holiday with her…she would drive you up the wall. Especially in a big group. She couldn’t wait to ram her opinions down people’s throats and instead of letting conversation flow naturally, she controlled it at her dinner and went off on a political jaunt. It’s not what her guests want to talk about. It’s what *she* wants to talk about. Those kinds of people don’t usually get invited back to parties or if they do, it’s with a groan. Anyone who is of the mindset “my way or the highway” with absolutely everything will not be able to sustain any kind of healthy relationship. She has some serious issues.

Nana is just not self-aware. Her food was done all with an immersion blender; looked rather bland and mushy tbh. She behaved in a way that makes you wonder how her family are. And the politics thing... had the others not rounded her off it would have been more awkward. And why would you go on a show like this being that she's such picky eater.
