JOY! Thank you all so much for your time and energy you put into these lessons. They are so wonderful. Our family loves to watch them. My daughter (16) says" I bet our families would get along so well. Dad lives to talk, especially about scriptures and is funny just like steve and mom doesn't like to get up in front of people and uses essential oils like chelsea". We have enjoyed " getting to know you all" through your videos . Thank you and may God bless you and your family.

JOY!! For the sacrament, I sometimes imagine there is an umbilical cord coming down from Heavenly Father to me. The feeling I receive knowing I'm being fed by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ is so amazing! I am filled with JOY. I love your broadcast! 😊

This is my favorite week of Come Follow Me! The best talk of Conference was Matthew Holland! I loved his use of language. I love how he didn't trivialize our exquiste pain, like "at least you don't have it as hard as the pioneers ". He validated that the Lord understands how hard to bear our trials are, then he shows us how to turn that pain into exquisite JOY, by turning to the Savior and asking for His mercy. My favorite scripture is in this lesson. I have it written in my spa room. "Have you any that are sick among you? Bring them hither and I will heal them..." I have so many loved ones that have chronic illnesses. Just in the last couple of months 3 people have told me that they want to die because they can't continue to bear the pain. I am so looking forward to the day when Jesus comes again and will heal my friends and my family. Thanks so much for another beautiful lesson. Thanks Chelsea for getting out of your comfort zone to share your magnificent spirit!

Joy! I loved your lesson. I always love your lessons. This one touched me a bit more. I am a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 1987, I was scheduled to have surgery. I had a dream before my surgery that I died on the operating table. This scared me because I had been taught that there was nothing after death. I did not want to be floating around in blackness for all eternity. I was actively seeking for a church whose beliefs matched mine. The night before my surgery I said a prayer that did not come from me. I asked the Lord to let me live and I would live the way He wanted me to. Needless to say, I lived. 4 months after my surgery I met someone who introduced me to the missionaries. I learned about the gospel on November 13. I was baptized November 29th. I am so grateful for a Heavenly Father and His Beloved Son Jesus Christ who sent me the missionaries when I needed them. Thank you for teaching me the these principles and doctrines. You always seem to know what I need to hear.

I read each chapter twice this week and picked out different verses that spoke to me with each read. I am a gospel doctrine teacher in a rotation of teachers. One of the things I have LOVED about Come Follow Me is the number of people who have used this (youtube) as an opportunity to share their views and insights. I generally watch three different youtube CFM lessons AFTER I have read the scriptures, and made daily notes about what I have read. It gives me a well-rounded or tilted-head perspective and helps me to be able to prepare for a class with thoughts I wouldn't have had on my own. It has been and continues to be a means to a richer, deeper scripture relationship. I love President Nelson's "How can I send you off with optimism..." I also connect to Elder Holland. A few years ago he gave an unplanned talk at a regional women's conference in Lowell, Massachusetts. He was visiting his son in Boston and dropped by to share a few thoughts. And the word is JOY! P.S. I am keeping a daily joy journel this year!

Let me see if I can remember everything you asked us to do. First, Conference: I ,too, loved Elder Hollands talk. I loved all the talks too. I hated to see it end. I am thankful for the ability to reread and listen to it all again via technology. Third: Sacrament. I am 'over 60' so I submit my comment under the older generation. Because of Health issues, I have not been able to attend in house sacrament long before Covid. To have the young men bring the sacrament into my home filled my heart and my Spirit. I have a testimony of the Atonement and am blessed because of the great love the Savior has for me. I am grateful that my husband has permission to administer that sacred ordinance in our home presently. I can related with Chelsea. Before my two boys went back to BYU this summer, they were the ones presenting the Sacrament. My heart was full as I saw them sustaining their Priesthood. My mamma's heart was filled knowing that they were worthy and willing to do this ordinance. Third: Word of the day; JOY. I will share with you that when taught young women's, my 'go to' acronym was GLOW. (Give Love to Others Weekly) I love listening to you both weekly . Thank you for taking your time to do this. Hugs!! From Hurricane Utah.

NO WAY!! That's one of our family traditions!! We do a family group hug at the end of prayer every night. Our 11 year old son started it, and it has become a tradition. We love it! Love that you all do that too! Every night we read a story, ponderize a scripture (one each week, from the CFM lesson), say prayer, family hug, and then end with a family cheer (all hands in the middle, count down to 3, and cheer)--whoever says the prayer that night gets to choose what we say for our cheer, and our kids LOVE it. So fun. It's all about relationships--connecting up with our Father, and connecting with our family.

I loved Conference! so much! I loved Elder Uchtdorf's talk. I loved when he said... " Things will not just be alright. They will be unimaginable!" I also loved Pres. Nelson's Women session talk. His 3 points of 1) Create places where you are safe 2) Prepare mind to be faithful to the Lord 3) Never stop preparing! Okay and one more point... Sister Craig totally asked YOUR QUESTIONS! 1- What am I doing that I should stop doing? 2-What am I not doing that I should start doing?

Regarding the sacrament...when COVID shut us down and we were not able to meet as a congregation, it took a few weeks before we got permission to have sacrament in our homes. That was a very difficult time for my husband and I to be without the sacrament. It felt so awful to not go to church and to not have the sacrament was a terrible feeling. When they gave permission for priesthood to perform that sacred ordinance in our homes, words just cannot describe the emotions that we felt that first Sunday. AND....it was especially spiritual for me because in 21 years of marriage, I had never heard my husband bless the sacrament. (We are of the "elderly" group you mentioned! )

THANK YOU, GUYS! - We talked, a few weeks ago in our Zoom EQ discussion, about how the light in a flashlight is a VERY Small light source. BUT it is the reflector, the mirror of Christ, that magnifies the light and focuses it to reach even the deepest corner. I am NOT the source of the light. Christ is the source. I can only access that light and spark the light to shine in me and then Christ reflects that light and magnifies and focuses it to expand it to others.

I provide on every Monday an email list to our ward members of all the Come, Follow Me video resources with links so they can more easily find a different one for each day of the week and maybe two on Sunday. Your presentations are often not posted by noon (EDT), so I cannot post yours. They need time to prepare their FHE time, so they need a preview, at least and some are retired and have theirs earlier in the day. If it isn't too much trouble, could you have them posted by Saturday or late Sunday or really early on Mondays? thanks. If not, they will just have to find you themselves.
