What a beautiful presentation. Tearful moments popped up as I was watching this. I love what Sis Halverson said about the 'bowels of mercy'. Actually, I love everything Sis Halverson said. What a beautiful soft and gentle speaking voice. After hearing about the trials Sister Halverson shared, I say thanks be to the miracle, and love of the Lord that she is teaching and speaking to us here on CFM. I love it when the wives come on CFM. They bring such a beautiful perspective to the lessons. It's wonderful to see the married couples teaching together. Listening to the words of Parley P Pratt, provided an insight of realness to the events. For me it brings a deeper perspective when it is a first hand account. Usually when traumatic experiences happen to us be it physical or emotional, we will either go to a therapist, health professional or live with it. Alot of times we don't want to be reminded of pain so we do anything to remove these reminders. I have often wondered why doesn't the Saviour physically heal himself and remove these traumatic reminders from his body. I realised the holes in his hands, and wounds on his body are there because it is a reminder of his unconditional love for us. It is a reminder of the price he willingly paid for someone like me. It is a reminder that we are in the the hands of someone who knows pain. The holes are symbols of his love and connection to us. The 'bowels of mercy' and the holes in the Saviours hands are beautiful ❤️

Christa Referente to the “ bowls”, look up the “ plexo solar” and we learn that in the cavity of our tórax are all the vital organs of our body and they are connected with an extended sistem of nerves which expresses our feelings of sympathy, empathy, anxiety and more. Religions of Hindu cultivate this aspect with what they call chakras. Learning about the plexo solar helped me understand the complexity of our body and “bowls “ doesn’t mean our digestive sistem.

Wow!!!Taylor, your face is beaming with deep admiration for your wife Lisa. This lesson is filled with a spiritual fire, I feel deeply ever word spoken. I have a great idea, Your wife and Tyler's wife as they each have shared in a lesson, wouldn't it be a uniquely interesting experience if the ladies taught a lesson together. I enjoyed seeing Tyler's children when his lesson was about "Grace" AND Grace" his mother, I'd enjoy seeing your children too. As we are blessed to have so many Come Follow Me instructors, I view a different group each day of the week, I enjoy each and every lesson. I have this daily quote book by President Russell M Nelson, this past week he said we should never use speed reading technique to study our Lord's word, do so reverently and thoughtfully. I do this, this is my special time with the Godhead of this glorious gospel.

This has been the most insightful Book of Mormon Central lesson that I have watched so far! Each of you bring your perspectives and wisdom to share at the table. Lisa, the experiences you shared coupled with your thoughts on how to exercise power in the way that God does, has moved me to some serious self-contemplation in the ways I need to change. Your suggestions of making personal creeds and frequently revisiting them, so we can be more mindful in the ways we use our influence and power, is the pearl or takeaway from this lesson. I so hope to hear your voice again on Book of Mormon Central! I can't wait to direct others to this video!

Thank you for this wonderful presentation. When I started listening to Lisa there was something familiar about her voice and when Lisa mentioned that she was born with a hearing loss I finally found my answer--I was also born with hearing loss and this is how my voice sounds whenever I am talking. Thank you so much for introducing Lisa to us, I really enjoyed listening to her thoughts of listening with our guts and helping me understand the concept of 'Jesus bowels of compassion' for us. I love learning other people's thoughts about gospel doctrine and the process of showing bowels of mercy and compassion towards others is a great concept. Thank you! I wish we had more episodes with both Tyler's and Taylor's wives as I really love their viewpoints of Gospel Doctrine. I hope someday I will meet Lisa as I instantly connected with her as sisters of the gospel.

Thank you, Taylor and Lisa for the amazing insights of church history at this period of time. I do not recall ever learning such in-depth information in seminary or institute classes. It was amazing. I really enjoyed this presentation. It was nice to meet Sister Halverson. What a power couple .I think I like the more modern version of "You are in my heart". instead of you are in my gut. 🥴Although I have heard many people say things like "I love your guts, or I hate your guts.' I think I can relate to the heart version better. Christ did say that whenever he had compassion on others, that his bowels were full. I have diminished hearing too, and I can say that my bowels were very touched by Sister Halverson's stories. She is such a strong lady.
