NEIGHBOUR......Delta Utah I love this lesson. We actually discussed this lesson in Relief Society today. We brought up how we talk ourselves out of reaching out to others, being afraid of bugging people. We need to listen to the promptings of the Spirit. Reach out to those you think about. Act on those thoughts we have immediately. It's so important in our day. We need to be more like "Porch sitting people" like back in the good old days.

I’m from West Jordan, Utah and I’m one that doesn’t comment except rarely. I’ve thought a lot about have to serve and help my NEIGHBOUR. I try to reach out to others where I live and those that I meet. In fact, I’ve embarrassed my children sometimes because I try to help those that I can see that have a need like in the grocery store or a mom that is struggling with her little kids. Thank you for your lesson today. ❤

Hi there Steve and Chelsea, I love listening to your channel. You have a lovely, loving relationship and it makes me smile. Your lessons are fun and friendly and invite the spirit into my home. I want to thank you for all your hard work in bringing these lessons to me, yes me because I don’t see anyone else in this class and it makes me feel so good and loved. I’ve not been a teenager for many years, in fact I’m probably past being a recycled teenager but I feel more like one when I watch and listen to your channel. I teach primary and love to listen to your lesson on a Sunday as it inspires me for that lesson. I often wonder how many people I may have upset and not known I have so how do I know who to forgive sometimes? It once took me many years to forgive someone but it felt so good when I did and the burden was lifted. I try to be that good neighbour and love to help people and I feel their love when I have helped them. Once again thank you from my little town Crowle in England. Wish your sone was in our mission but he’s a lot further away but I hope the people there are being good to him With love to you and your family and all those you help ❤❤❤

Love the shirts! And I love you two too. Forgiveness is more for the person who is doing the forgiving. That being said, Just you forgive them doesn't mean you have to invite them for Thanksgiving supper. There are toxic people who you don't need befriend. Forgive yes but don't let them continue to hurt you. I heard this at church. Makes sense to me. Not trying to undermind you just a word of caution. Your lesson is first Come Follow Me KZbin lesson I listen to every week. I live in a retirement community Austin, Texas. After much careful thought and much nudging from the Spirit, I have figured out that my mission is scatter sunshine all along my way.

Today is starting out to be a great day!! I'd like to share this experience. Sorry for the length, I don't know how to make it shorter. I received a text late last night, from a couple asking if I could sub in their primary class in the morning. I said that I could and quickly looked through the primary lesson before going to bed. I had already listened to the lesson throughout the week, so I knew the stories and gospel topics that I would be covering, but needed to double check the primary portion. I went early to church (8:45) to find which room I would be in and drew a picture on the board to go with the Good Samaritan part of the lesson. I sat in sacrament meeting, on the opposite side of the overflow area than I usually sit on because the primary is on that side of the bldg. Just as the meeting was ready to start, a sister asked if I was saving any seats and asked if she could sit there. I wasn't, and yes she could. Then, she let me know of a trial that just happened to her within the past week. I am in a similar situation that I had mentioned to her a long while ago. I was a bit shocked at the suddenness and so sad for her and she was just being like happy, I guess to make it through. This past week, I listened to one of the talks from CFM about prayer, promptings and actions, and hearing Him. I am trying to pray for guidance for me and who to minister to in my daily prayers. Then, I'm trying to write down what I hear and if prompted, to follow through on taking action. I didn't really get any promptings yet that I wrote down, but what happened today seemed like a big deal! I pretty much never sit on the north side of the chapel because I enter on the south side, and I don't go early to church. If it weren't for saying yes to substitute in primary, I wouldn't have been sitting there so this sister could lean on me for whatever capacity of help she needed to make it through the meeting without sitting alone. I wrote this all down in my Sunday meeting journal because that was my goal, and stopped in after church to visit. My neighbour! Not on my street but not too far away either. (it's hard leaving that spelling with the red line under it, but for you, I'll spell it that way!!) Helping others is such a great feeling and I hope that I can be a light for her in the darkness and someone that can be there when she needs a friend. Now about your lesson, It was great as always. I love being a part of your family and always learning from you and your examples. : }

Great lesson, neighbours from up North! It is not a coincidence when the desires of your heart are aligned with the will of the Lord that you'll discover "neighbors" in need all around you. There will always be people to comfort and assist in a myriad of ways. Some opportunities that come our way might be a bit out of the ordinary. These don't, however, occur randomly. The Lord knows that He can trust us to minister to his children. I have a plethora of neighbourly stories that I could share with you. I'll choose just one and keep it brief. I was working late one evening in my off-season role as a personal fitness trainer. The gym was just about empty as it neared closing time. In through the front door walks a man who looks exhausted. He was carrying a paper bag. He asked to speak to a manager. The two women who worked the front desk immediately looked at me. I asked him if he'd like to sit down and chat and we did so in the lobby. He was eager to tell me his life story. He'd been walking all day looking for anyone to offer help. Unfortunately, he'd been turned away at every stop even from a couple of churches. Before he got too far in his storytelling, I asked him if he was hungry. I offered to take him anywhere he wanted to go. He was excited. As I walked with him past the desk, I said goodnight to the two ladies. One responded, 'John, this is how people end up on America's Most Wanted." I felt the Spirit very strongly that I was in no danger. So, off we went. This man, who's name is Charles, told me that he'd been in prison for 22 years. He had been released that very morning. I didn't ask him about his last. I just knew in that moment he needed to feel loved. Charles told me of seeing commercials on TV in prison for Kentucky Fried Chicken. He really wanted to taste a new item that had been frequently advertised. Chelsea and Steve, I have never seen someone enjoy a meal more than Charles did that night. He needed to get to the Greyhound bus station in downtown Cleveland. I told him that was no problem whatsoever. He asked if I could drive him around a bit. He desired to see the Cleveland baseball stadium lit up at night. He reminisced about going to baseball games as a kid with his dad. Of course, he needed money for the bus ride. I provided that for him and I emptied my wallet to give him extra. I also gave him a copy of the Book of Mormon and wrote my name and number on the inside cover. Charles was overwhelmed that I would care about him. "Why?" he asked.I testified that Heavenly Father knows him personally. I thanked Charles for this opportunity to serve him. Tears flowed as we sat parked at the bus station. I knew that the Lord knew that I would not turn Charles away. I offered a prayer before he stepped out of my car. It was a great night to be neighbourly! I never did see or hear again from him. Nevertheless, I had fulfilled my responsibility to my neighbour. I was on a spiritual high. What a privilege it is to be the hands and feet of our Savior!

Sometimes you just need to pay attention to see your neighbor. That happened to me yesterday. I had a busy schedule and was finishing up a meeting when I received a text message letting me know that a dear friend of a dear friend had passed away, and the viewing was happening - in 15 minutes! The service would follow. Now, I had several more things on my To Do list, but quickly determined that I could put those things off and attend. I live in a small town in Kentucky, near Fort Knox, so local things are not too spread out. She was so appreciative of me being there! Yesterday, she was my neighbor. Today, someone else will be. If we are in tune with the Spirit, He will tell us what we need to do. And what can wait.

Hi neighbour! I normally listen to your channel on my Saturday morning runs (got lazy on the run part today but still tuned in). I love studying CFM to seek for something new that I may have missed growing up . I’ve learned to always ask the Lord to help me forgive others because I wouldn’t want someone to hold a grudge against me for any actions, thoughts, or deeds I’ve done unknowingly to others. The parables are always a great example/reminder for us to reflect on our own spiritual growth. OAN: Are y’all getting a Temple announced in General Conference? ✋🏾 👊🏾 ♥️ from Saint Cloud, FL

35:41 I just want to hopefully share a heartfelt short message. I’ve alway been bad at expressing myself and the thoughts in my head just don’t always come out right. I’ve offended a lady in our ward quite a few years ago and to this day I don’t know what it was that I said. I’ve apologized many times but she still avoids me. I feel like a cow pie stepper probably because I’m sad she won’t forgive me but i know I need to kick off that cow pie and move on knowing i did my part. I usually never comment in Sunday school because I just really can’t express myself correctly and I’ve pleaded with Heavenly Father to help me. Recently I said something to someone that really hurt them and I realized that I messed up again and I’ve been pleading all morning for forgiveness. I guess what Im trying to say is that sometimes people get hurt by others words without them even realizing what they’ve done. Please forgive them. I love listening to this channel and I’m grateful for everything that you guys have taught me.

I think the forgiving 7x70 is because we don't know how much the Savior's atonement covers others' offenses because we do not know if there's mental illness or insufficiency that is covered & if it's covered 80 or maybe even 100%! What kind of people are we to demand justice or retribution if Jesus is going to say, "it's covered, I paid the price & I will reimburse you for your losses 100 times."? So forgive to not be an offense to our Savior.

Hi it's Linda McDaniel from Baltimore Maryland and you had a question about the word certain used in Luke 10 ?I had been wondering about that also, so I have as a reference that helps me The New Testament study guide by Thomas R Valletta and found out that the author pairs male and female in his interpretation of the 2 great commandments. It is used in verses 25,30,and 38. The author reference is Strathearn "Mary.Martha and Lazarus " just wanted to share this with you..

"Seventy Times Seven" is an idiom in Jewish culture that appertains to the infinite. Christ's point was that we must always forgive trespasses against us by others.

Christ would be in the Nursery, yes. He also did His tracting in the hood as opposed to the gated communities. 1 Samuel 16:7. Every missionary knows the most Christlike and honorable people in their areas are in the hood.
