Naomi, I've always loved fresh, natural ingredients. I grew up in Australia but moved to America in high school and they're produce is nothing like Australias. It's not very fresh and it's so hard to find anything organic (I live in Texas). You've inspired me to look online for these brands and order in bulk and for the past week I've been eating only organic, all homemade, fresh food. I feel AMAZING. I had a glass of milk about an hour ago with some cookies because it was my best friends birthday and her favourite thing is oreos and milk. I think I must be dairy intolerant! Crazy, but I love your channel. You need to know how much you contribute to the community of followers that watch you. Thank you gorgeous!

Yummy shopping! 11:36 made me chuckle a bit... "This isn't like normal bread" ..so funny! Here in Germany it is the normal bread and every German I know who lived in the UK or US (including me) always missed this "proper" and healthy bread. Brot btw is German and means bread.

In don’t know if it’s anywhere near you but if you haven’t heard of it look into The Source Bulkfoods. A new one just opened in the UK and I think it’s in London. You take all of your glass jars in and refill them with all the health food you could imagine without the waste. They have a heap of zero waste stuff there too. They are an Australian store that I shop at over here and are now in the UK too.

You need to film these at least once a week I love it 😁 another idea with cauliflower is to make a sauce with it. I use organic ox heart tomatoes to make a red sauce and then added toasted pinenuts and chopped cauliflower in it. Let it cook till cauliflower is soft and add to any pasta or eat alone. My nonna (grandmother) always made this, its so simple yet delicious. Xx

I'd love to see you try "zero waste" food shopping. As you live in London it's much easier for you to be able to do and would be really inspiring to others if they see bigger youtubers giving it a go. It's really not that hard, I manage a low waste shop and don't have any bulk stores etc near me.

A quick recommendation Niomi, perhaps you could try shopping for food that does not come in so much packaging. Plastic is terrible for the planet and all the animals on it (including us); given that you are vegan, you might think about the effect plastic has on marine life for example (or even pets to be honest, they're always eating everything!). Also, while recyclable packaging is far less terrible for the environment, recycling stills consumes a lot of energy, so the ideal is to refuse packaging and then, if impossible, reuse and reduce. From what I've seen from eco-conscious youtubers, there are many options to buy package- and plastic-free in London (and other parts of England). Hopefully you'll be interested enough to look into it! The planet will most definitely thank you :)

Love to see what you buy, I'm not vegan, but love healthy food. Alot of what you buy is what I buy, but a few things you've given me ideas for. Would love to see you cook with what you buy, as love your recipes. The mango salsa I have made so many times and my husband really likes that too (and he doesn't really do healthy! 😄) I've been mixing in walnuts and raisins in my cacao avocado mousse recently, and it's like a bar of fruit and nut chocolate 🍫 only better!! 😋 x

Great video Niomi! Little tip: don’t put your bananas with the rest of your fruit because they realise a chemical which makes the rest of your fruit go off quicker. It’s not harmful, it just makes it go off quicker. So if you want your fruit to stay ripe and fresh for longer, don’t put them with your bananas.
