That's a good dog for responding accordingly. I have a very skittish dog that I worry would get lost or hurt in any sort of high pressure situation 😬 idk what to do about it. If I(or anyone) even raise my voice in joy she turns to run. We took her to our swim spot at the river and someone was shooting guns nearby, she ran a full mile back to our vehicle TWICE! all the while I'm chasing behind her calling her back to me 😢

Funny enough, they didn't stop specifically to save the dog! This is Reed Timmer, a meteorologist and storm chaser in the famous TIG (i believe it's this vehicle), a specially made truck that can withstand up to EF4 tornados! He and his crew stopped here in this tornado to gather data. From what I remember of the whole video, they had stopped and deployed the spikes (to stabilize the truck) and saw the dog. The dog took shelter behind/under the truck, and was safe after the tornado had passed. But he's definitely a cool guy and he and his crew often double as first responders in a lot of areas. do we know if the dog got in? Was he ok? Had to be owners out there somewhere if they weren't killed. I hate tornadoes. Scariest thing to me. I have been in a hurricane that was major damage and they said there were tornados. I was sheltering in an older brick apartment first floor level. My car was totaled-not one bit of paint left on it and all my windows and both front and rear windshields were all cracked. They said that it would take months to get glass repaired because of all the damages. ❤ God bless the people in Oklahoma and every others needing help. Prayers🙏😪

@@MissX33That is absolutely ridiculous. First off the dog could still absolutely be injured in a storm like this. It is a tornado watch. Puppy or not debris is still flying around in high winds like this that carries stuff MUCH larger than the size of that dog. Not to mention it could be a stray, or worse, its home was wrecked by the brutal wind. In areas these storms hit they can tear off poor roofing like its link n logs. Its not a puppy… and? Powerlines can fall in these storms and send open currents haywire. The dog has the body language like it was aware someone could be in the car and rushed to the car. It knew that it was being helped. Ive seen eagles get caught by storms like this and take shelter in cars with busted windows. And birds are extremely good at detecting these things. This situation has nothing to do with a solar eclipse, which even crickets can sense. Eclipses arnt a giant debris flinging and house wrecking storm. Dogs absolutely can be scared of storms especially ones like this. All animals feel anxiety in these storms. They are not immune from nature. More intune. Not immune. Honestly like girl what

The “Come here Puppydog!!” made me tear up. Got me a little emotional. When I was around 10 -11 years old there was a bad storm. I was looking out the window at how hard the wind was blowing the rain and the trees around. I saw a small dark shape huddled close to the ground slowly crawling. To my shock it was a little doggie. I ran outside, wrapped it in my arms and ran back inside. He was my first pet and he became my best friend. He taught me what unconditional love felt like. I’m in my 60s now and I don’t think I’ll ever forget that little doggie. What happened to him? I came home from school one day and my mom told me he had run away. Found out sometime later that my OCD, Bipolar, narcissistic mom had taken him to the dog pound. It took me about another 28 years to finally figure out that my mom was NOT my friend and that she was extremely jealous when it came to me caring about or being cared for by others. It was a long journey and a very hard lesson. But I learned. I thank GOD that HE kept me through it all.🙏🏽🙌🏽💖💯

They *DIDN'T* save him. They called him over and left him out there. Did you hear any change in the sound ?? If you opened your car door in the middle of a tornado, it would be very obvious in the audio of the video. It's pretty obvious that they didn't open the door. They aren't "good guys". They're just you average click hounds, who'll post anything if it'll get them a couple more views.

I watched this live on KZbin when it happened, it’s from storm chaser Reed Timmer, he streams most if not all of his storm chases on KZbin, this storm produced a tornado and if I remember correctly the home where this dog resided was destroyed in the tornado and that’s how it got out but his owners were okay and the storm chasers were able to give the dog back to its owners
