artastic Sure! My top suggestions are pretty basic. 1) Don't make excuses, 2) Set your goals, and the very very important one is 3) Just start. Lots of people talk about doing it but they never do. How about I check up on you next Saturday to see if you have started? I'll give you more tips once you do.

Great stuff! I limited myself to shading for the majority of my life and have just recently begun learning how to use colour, so this type of video is of great interest to me. What are the chances of doing a colouring tutorial? I know it seems like a basic thing, but IMO, it's more complicated than most people realize.

Thanks! The difficulty with doing a colouring tutorial is that everyone has different colouring tools, and these tools have different techniques. I'm also under the impression that my fan base is younger and thus won't have the higher-end colouring tools I have, like Copic brush markers (you should get 'em, they're really good!) and Prismacolors.

Good point! On that note, the only colouring tool I have at my disposal is my iPad, lol. If I save my nickels, though, I can probably afford to buy one Copic marker every six months. :cry:
