In this episode, come shop the Goodwill bin for a huge thrifted home decor finds haul!!! We had never been to the Goodwill Bins and we thought we'd start the year out by doing something different! At first...I was like, "I don't want ANY of this!" but quickly my thoughts changed after finding a few items that I could easily flip! It was game on!!! Come see what we found...it's always an adventure!!!

Oh I’m so excited that Debbie is back! That vase was definitely the find of the day. It looks like everyone had a very productive day. I’m so glad that you did a shout out to the nice employees. Ok… veteran bins shopper here. To get good stuff you’ve got to slow down and think how you can change and adapt. And, often, there’s really great smaller things that are in the bottom of the bin. Don’t just look through the top layer. The more you go, the better you’ll get at spotting hidden gems. Also, I can’t believe how sparse your bins was. Mine always has about 25-30 bins in there with them moving in and out all day. I can’t believe they make you stand against the wall. No wonder there’s a rush! Good hunting!!!!

I agree, the first time I went it was just a learning experience. I've been back many times since. You have to think what can I do with this. Lots of project pieces. My bins rotate out regularly.

Happy New Year and so glad to see Debbie back, and your mother out shopping also and doing much better. I love seeing you all having a wonderful time shopping and finding great finds and making memories. I like going thrifting, but my funds are so limited that I can’t afford much even if I thrift. On disability and trying to help raise my 3 grandchildren (3 & 2 y/o and a 12 week old). Their father works a full time job driving a cement truck. Times are just hard. My husband has been deceased for seven years and I was an RN with a great job. A car accident caused neck and lower back injuries which caused my disability. Depression set in after my husband’s death, but my grandchildren have been my saving grace. Something to really live for and really enjoy and love.

Wow! This trip really turned out well. You just had to persevere! I’m guessing that they have had issues in the past with people rushing the bins, so they had to get it under control. We just got a new Goodwill and I just knew it would be a Bins store. Wrong. It's massive and it's the largest in several counties. They're always packed . The bins seem, to me, more suited to upcyclers than resellers. I'm an upcycler: I love items that I can makeover, repurpose, or use to create something beautiful to sell in my online store. But, if someone is looking for items to simply clean & put in the shop to sell... probably the bins wouldn't be the best use of your time. I enjoy your shopping trips & videos! Hello from Idaho.

So glad to see the band back together! Once you have experienced finding good stuff at the bins, especially vintage, it's hard to spend money anywhere else! The trick is to get in there and DIG. The best stuff is usually at the bottom of the bin!
