My friend died in December and he was from a very small town in Washington state but back in the day he had over 30 different kinds of popcorn that he made and sold. I guess it was quite the thing. I would ask him what flavors were they? How can you have over 30 flavors of popcorn? But he did it and it was quite the business.

I have a cursive eat sign in yellow that I found at a thrift store. It’s on my kitchen shelf and I had transformed a cupboard with a cookbook shelf above it and now it’s just all shelves and I painted the background yellow because I had so many yellow things. I at any rate it looks great on my kitchen shelf.

I have my mom’s old aluminum strainer. I remember her using that when I was a kid. It’s a little bent in certain areas but not too bad really for its age. It’s got to be about 60 years old. I’ll be 67 this year and I remember her using this when I was 8,9 and 10 so I’m sure she had it in the.

Im flipping a few booths this weekend so I'm trying to take some tips fron you BUT there is soooo much black and white lol that's hard!

Well, I like to stay with the black and white because they are classic colors that go with everything and they sell faster because they are neutral. I usually mix wood (like candlesticks, trays, etc...) with white and black decor. Now, if you have a lot of color...this is what I would do. Pick three colors that compliment each other....and group those items together in one shelf or section. I wouldn't use more than three colors. If you use all kinds of colors in one section...it's too busy....your eye is drawn all over....you don't know where to look. You want it to flow! (Example: Mix white, black and yellow items together. The yellow gives a pop of color to the shelf but it's not so busy you don't know where to look.). Or maybe do GREENS (green plants, green vases, mixed with wood candlesticks, wood plates, and then throw in some black items, like black houses, black clocks, etc.). Hope that helps!

I like baskets to. But I can’t give them away on Facebook marketplace. I have some beautiful baskets for five dollars. No interest whatsoever. Maybe the spring I will spruce them up a little bit with some greenery and maybe that will help.

My mom always tells me you have to add things to your items. EXAMPLE: I had this tin planter that I had been trying to sell and it just wasn't going. My mom said, "You have to put some greenery in there." She got some out of her stash and spruced it up. Do you know the following week....it sold?!?! I couldn't believe it! She's like some people don't want to have to do anything to it. They want to just buy it and hang it up! Also, you know what you could do....if you have baskets that you can hang....like what was in the video. Show a picture of what they can do with it. People are more apt to buy something if they know what they can do with it. Hope that helps!

I'm trying to explain, as a reseller why I am not getting these items to the viewer who is watching. If I say nothing about the prices being high...some may feel this is a good price point to buy the item (and it's not for resale). If I don't mention why I chose not to get the item (again, due to the high pricing), the viewer is left to are wondering why I passed. So, I'm sorry to be repetitive but people tune in to find out about reselling and it's important for me to mention about the pricing when it comes to the items I choose and whether or not I feel it's too much. I'm sure you can understand that. I do that to educate NOT be hypocritical.
