Now you’ll need a beach cart/buggy to get it all down the beach in one go. Cooler is also known as an Esky 😊

Glad to see you made it to Sunshine Plaza. You saw the canals through the middle? There were shortages of some veges, notably capsicums, and Coles and Woolies are still charging like there is a shortage.

We did! There are some really nice outdoor parts 😃

All fruit and veg is expensive in Australia at the moment It's to do with fuel cost growing cost and the floods we had before you arrived in Australia

You need to get a few ice bricks for your esky (cooler) the ones that are shaped to go around cans and bottles are good. You can buy bags of ice from any servo or bottlo but bricks are convenient and you just keep them in the freezer ready to go.

I buy golden circle cordial mainly sarsaparilla, cola, raspberry and lime flavours for my soda stream. It's much cheaper than the soda stream branded flavours. It's great if you want a non-alcoholic fizzy drink on a hot day. Yay you've got an esky, you're one step closer to becoming Aussies haha, love the beverage shirts lol, I haven't seen them before.

Fruit and veg prices vary depending upon if in season. If it is season prices are low. Out of season then prices can be at least 4 times more expensive. No idea how prices compare to uk these days as we left in 2008. Back then, prices worked out similar. Petrol, car insurance especially for youngsters, various general bills was cheaper here than uk. My sons first car was a Toyota GT86 sports car he paid for himself aged 18. He saved up paid cash. Teenagers here often get part-time work while still at school. They get good experience can make a fair bit of money too. Kmart is basically a Primark in UK. For decent outdoors gear Bunnings, Anaconda, BCF (Boating Camping Fishing) are good. Food shopping here you see lot less processed frozen food and larger fresh food in supermarkets so that does make food shopping more expensive. A lot here tend to cook fresh meals. Not much demand for microwave meals from supermarkets. Everyone seems to make meals from scratch at home and meals friends take to workplaces are always freshly prepared at home.

Prices seem to be pretty on par for the most part. Apart from out of season veg and alcohol. Petrol is about half the cost compared to the 🇬🇧

Don’t be fooled. Aussie Capsicums are 10 x better than what you refer to as “Peppers”. That’s why they are so expensive😊

Make sure you have a good sunscreen for all your family and put it on each time you come out of the water . Trust me the Australian sun is brutal especially on a cloudy day . I don't want you to ruin that lovely English skin . 😊
