You're really amazing. I love the way you blend elegance and technique. You're graceful and light like a dancer even when you jump. I have problematic feet too. I really struggle finding the right boot for my wide feet. I like to lace my skates the Edea way, not so thight around my ankles. I'm glad to hear there's someone else in this world who doesn't like running or jogging 😆

You skate so beautifully and elegantly, prettier than most national, world, or Olympic champions. I really enjoy watching you.

I know it’s kind if obvious, but what exactly scares you about doing jumps, especially since you are clearly able to do them? I just think it’s interesting that someone as good and graceful as you can still be scared of doing jumps.

Hannah Wow. Didn’t realize how much mental health plays into it. I actually took figure skating lessons when I was in grade school (never got to freestyle level tho) - and I can still remember just how much my falls hurt - barely being able to walk and stand straight, pain shooting up my spine. Yet I still dream of going back, even though I know it can indeed be a dangerous sport. Thank you for sharing your experience tho. I really appreciate it.

I noticed there's only 2 types of skaters: those who LOVE jumps, and those who hate or are afraid of them. I am in the love group :)) I really like the thrill of it - going into it at full speed with intention of either mastering it or killing yourself. And the sense of empowerment it brings after mastering it - nothing comes close
@skyla31434 жыл бұрын
drsalka Yeah, that’s why I asked this question because I’ve heard of people such as yourself who get a thrill from doing jumps. That’s really interesting to me.

That’s why we practice jumping and twirling between shop isles first because I love the thrill of it, but if I fall I don’t really wanna sprain my ankle..;-; but practicing your confidence in your jumps on the ground makes a big difference!

You’re ice looks so good!!! 😫😍 I took a year of skating cause I couldn’t fit it in with school and varsity and my goal for summer was to level up to FS but now we’re not allowed to go out because of quarantine :,,,)

You are such a beautiful skater! I leave my skates pretty loose around the ball until I'm warmed up then everything gets tightened and yes, bare feet feels best but yuk the smell. Lol

Hi! I just started skating before the quarantine and had a few good levels already. Although I'm already 18 turning 19 years old this year and was discourage from ballet because of the flexibility requirements. Do you think it's too late for me too to take figure skating seriously? Thanks a lot!
@techkidsix4 жыл бұрын
it's never too late! the adult skating division is definitely not talked about enough. I'm from Australia and over here our adult divisions go from Adult Bronze to Adult Elite and you can still compete at all the competitions: State competitions, Nationals, overseas, etc.

Don’t be so hard on yourself with your language- your spread eagles are beautiful in their own way and trying new things take courage but you always manage to look graceful so I think it’s a win!

I love your channel. You're an inspiration already. I really look upto you. I wish to catch upto you someday. P.S. can you do a video about the investments and back up balance to have as a figure skater. I have no support so I have to arrange it for myself but I have no idea how much to save before I can do it full time.

Looks like you are using a motion tracking camera, if right could you please let me know which one you use? I have one from PIVO, but it can't track me on ice properly.
