I am. Listening to this song tonight after having an asthma attack. My breath wouldn't come out fully and ny breaths were short. I took my medicine and just lay there holding my husband's hand. I was praying for Jesus to look after my family and husband. I felt at peace, tears slid from my eyes. I just stopped forcing my breaths and accepted the future with God. It took time and a few more puffs of medication and I can breathe again. What amazed me was I was at peace. Thank you Lord for beiing there with me.

This song speaks deeply to my heart. Growing up, I saw friends fall away from Christ. I felt the same pull of sinful desires. So when the song says: “Prone to wander, Lord I feel it Prone to leave the God I love Here's my heart, oh take and seal it Seal it for Thy courts above” It’s a prayer for rescue, more than a song of praise. It’s a call of desperation saying, don’t let me leave you, God. I’ve been walking with Christ for 37 years and still loving this God who repaired my broken family, saved me from suicide, gave me my own family and now helps me to teach the next generation. If you don’t know the power and love of God, you need to give him a chance, my friend!

@francismatatan5048 Even the New Testament does seem to encourage church going though. Not as something necessary for salvation but so that we as Christians can serve one another and encourage each other. The love that Christians are commanded to have for one another is supposed to be an example to others. It really can be difficult to find a faithful church sometimes though, and for those of us with a little social anxiety, it can be a little stressful. 😄

@@bhazerelli7611 Agreed. Churches are not to take the place of God's grace but they are to fortresses of God's Word and a refuge from the worldly noise and a chance to renew one's spirit when the world becomes too much.

Thank you Jesus for bringing St Patrick back to Ireland to begin the conversion of the Celts and to always accompany every conversion with poetry and music ("the deer's cry", "the rune of St Patrick" etc---- this tradition dates to the 4th century, when we were all one Church and by God's grace and sharing of music, the Gospel and the tradition of our faith we will be one again, as Jesus requested in His priestly prayer at the last supper, the Eucharist (John 6, John 14-17). Beautiful song 🙏🙏🕯️🙏🙏

The reason we walk by faith and not by sight is this, what we see can die, be stolen, wither or become diseased. Faith is a certainty, a hope which cannot be seen but somehow we know to be true. Faith cannot be stolen, killed or diseased unless we allow it to be through disuse. Faith is a muscle to be used, not a feeling to be felt or an idea to be thought. Faith, like LOVE is a VERB

"Prone to wander, Lord I feel it" - Yes, I do feel it. I grew up in church, but I did not genuinely trust Christ for salvation until my teens. Now in my early 50s, I can honestly say that the longer I live and the more I grow, the more conscious I become of how deep is the sin that still remains. If I want to learn some humility, I need to look no further than my own failings. I know what is inside me, and I know my will is weak. I know every part of me is corrupted by sin, despite what growth I have made by His grace alone. But that is not a reason to give up striving to live for Him. It is reason to despair of any hope of living by human strength alone, but it is also reason to instead rely on His grace and provision despite my own weaknesses. I am saved by His grace alone, . . . and by His grace alone I can live for Him, even though I will continue to fall short.
@MrJOHNNYLAW1
@MrJOHNNYLAW1 Ай бұрын
My friend I know exactly what you are talking about. There's corruption that runs so very deep and as we grow in our relationship with Christ, he reveals more of that corruption, often times it's a sin that was never even on my radar. However, for every look at my wretched self, I look to my sinless Saviour who did for me what I could never do for myself. All glory and praise to Christ the King.

Dear Robin, Christ is indeed the "Fount of every blessing". At the start, our limited spirits can only take a little at a time. Picture a Fount like a water dispenser, you need to return to it several times a day to quench your thirst. Keep coming back to the Word of God, just take one wee verse or quote from Jesus at a time and let it renew and cleanse your thoughts, words, attitudes. He will fill you with "living water". He promised that to the Samaritan woman at the well; she wasn't "perfect" or even looking for Christ, yet he came and met her at her place of need. He can do that for you, Robin, as he has done and is still doing for me and millions of others. All those who come to Him he will in no way cast out (John 6v37). God bless you.

The human who claims no temptations befell them is a liar. The key is to do as Christ preached & start your life with call for forgiveness after repentance. Samson the man's man called for the destruction of his enemies, but Christ the Son of God called for forgiveness because they know not what they do. How can we not love God the father, the Son & the Holy Ghost ? Beautiful haunting quality to this music and yet it is both soft & powerful.

When I heard this song tonight, I believed it was a reminder from the Holy Spirit. I remembered that when my mother was alive,《万福泉源》 was one of our favorite songs. We were in China at the time and sang this song in Chinese. God led us to salvation, led us through the ups and downs, and gave us comfort, light, and strength! Although it is before dawn now, my heart is still full of gratitude and hope, and I pray for God's mercy, enlightenment, and grace...

Hello Celtic Worshipers!! My 16 month old daughter LOVES this song!! She's always so excited when I turn it on and comes running to dance and spin. Evelynn loves the flute, bagpipes, and violin. One of the songs with the bagpipes solo made her cry because she was soo touched. I never knew bagpipes could be so moving. I've tried to play other videos with the pipes but she only likes how celtic worshipers play it! I've been debating on writing a comment but we've probably listened to your songs over 2,000 times in the last few months. Please release more videos 💜 Blessings, Your sister in Christ

I'm sorry if this unintentionally offends anyone, for that, I'm very sorry. However, I just need to say this. Being born and raised in America during and at the turn of the Millennium. This is the first in a long time I can feel not only passion but mercy and love in a Christian song. It reminds me of my great grandma and grandma at church at Saturday evening mass when I was a kid. Thank for sharing this.

I love your version a lot. There is a verse that is not used a lot when people sing or record this song but it is my favorite. It goes “come my Lord and do not tarry take my ransomed soul away, come my Lord and do not tarry take my ransomed soul away, come my Lord and do not tarry take my ransomed soul away, send thine angels now to carry me to realms of endless days. Mercy Me does a great version where they sing this verse and it is glorious. I hope more people learn of it and add it to their versions in the future. Blessings be upon all.

Absolutely brilliant! Well done Celtic Worship! PTL! "Raising an Ebenezer, of course, is in reference to the Israelite practice of placing stones of help, stones of remembrance, stones of testimony, witnesses to great events in history, i.e., God’s mighty works, such as Israel’s crossing the River Jordan to enter the Promised Land (Josh. 4:1-7; 19-24). Spiritual songs, like these stones, are reminders, historical landmarks, to us of His mighty works. Yes, setting stones and singing songs has long been the practice of God’s Church. For, even in the beginning the angels sang when God laid the earth’s corner stone (Job 38:6-7)."

As I am safe in your arms how do you think you are in mine?? Let’s talk about something else as well.. even though there are those in whose arms we are not safe it is still our duty for them to be safe in ours. By this simple genius the arms of those we are not safe in are ever turned into those which we are. If we only salute our brother what have we gained?? Even though there are bullies all bullies are are lonely people who need and deserve love and kindness and by providing them with this they will in turn little by little and all at once become love and kindness such and same as the man who provided it to him. Mutual growth the kingdom is for everyone here.

i was saved at 6 years old didn't understand it fell away 11 years later on Sunday Feb 12th the lord made this song pop up to lead me, from my head to a church in town different from the current church i went to, i went to the piano in the youth room waiting for the teacher started playing this (on piano 0 knowledge by ear) and i missed one note, i see the hymnal and i grab a bunch of pages and flip, the one i land on first try was this very song, throughout the youth bible study we talked about how the people jesus taught didnt have a saving faith and that hit hard for me, that very day in main service he invited those unsaved to have a chance to be saved, and i fealt the tug and i came back to god

I just came downstairs to do some ministry work, clicked on Facebook, and saw a notice that Celtic Worship had a new video. Now I've seen it...through tears. This was absolutely perfect. It's my favorite hymn, the one I lean on when times are rough...and I've leaned on it quite a bit since 2019. When your ministry is about encouraging one another, times like these can be overwhelming. I thank our Heavenly Father for each of you, for the talent He has given you, and for your desire and commitment to follow Him and encourage the rest of us. And thanks for adding the bagpipe. I'd never heard this hymn with it but always felt that's what it was missing. Love to you all...Chuck Graham

This is a hymn sung was by my late maternal Grandmother and I learnt the words just by listening and the tune , lyrics and the profound meaning of this hymn in within my soul's core... so every time I hear this beautiful hymn, I am reminded of various composers of these classic hymns - Onwards Christian Soldiers.... keep the Standard of the Lord's Victory High and vanquish the enemy... in our daily life and drink from the Fount of Life and thirst no more... the Living Waters... that are like the Streams in the Desert.... Living like a Desert Rose... when the World is falling down in the morass of darkness and despair... Lord Jesus Christ you are there... The Rock of Our Salvation..... Who neither slumbers or sleeps.... Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives and we the ones called by His Name shall dwell in His House forever....and ever Amen... Thanks be to God for Who is Living and Reigns from Everlasting to Everlasting.... Thy Kingdom has no end.... help us to do Thy will , fill us with The Holy Spirit and help us to be your reflection putting off the adamic nature and putting on your Divine Nature by the renewal of Our Minds, Souls and Bodies... Hallelujah
