With the green cardigan, you should take off the bottom button and sew it where the missing button is! I think if you want to wear it buttoned you’ll probably be tucking it in so the bottom button being missing wouldn’t matter! Just move the very bottom button up or the very top button down to replace the missing one. Usually no one notices if the top or bottom button is missing because it's usually left open or is tucked in, respectively.

I do the “reverse” and move top button to the missing spot and use a unique statement button for the top spot. I have a stash of those extra buttons that often come with clothes and have used them in similar situations. Also can use a vintage scatter pin for the top button. 😊

With that cardigan, I would personally 100% remove all of those buttons and buy another pack and replace them all. Replacing buttons is pretty simple, and you could even get some cute novelty ones to replace with (with that green, thinking flowers, bees, ect)! And if you like the buttons it's got, you could still keep them, I'm sure they'd come in handy for another project in the future!

You can search for a button that fits the idea of the other buttons from the cardigan but is like more of a statement, maybe a gold one and put it as the top one and do the matching in the place where the one is missing, it gives a nice little touch without loosing full functionality 🧡

I reckon you're a Light Spring (colour season) as a guess! So you'd suit light, bright (but not too intense) yellow toned (i.e. warm and sunny) colours rather than darker, or more muted soft (potentially wishy-washy) colours. Whenever you do get draped, it'll be interesting to see if I'm right!

Sometimes cardigans have an extra button attached to the side tag. People don’t notice it, so even when they lose a button they don’t realise it’s an easy fix. Check there first before altering buttons, it might be there.

Those buttons are actually pretty common. Perhaps wear the sweater to the fabric store to find its perfect match. They are usually only about $2 for a set. The gingham dress looks familiar. Very cute though

When it comes to off the shoulder tops, take a piece of elastic and see it under your arm. From the front of the top to the back of the top like where your armpit is. If that makes sense lol. But it seriously works to hold them in place and keep them there!

Alexa, I have you heard you talk about how sweaters make you itch. If you research yarns, fabric, and synthetics you can address this issue. You will find the right combination for you so that you are comfortable. Blends and not pure wool, except top cashmere, will be best. Or, don’t wear wool at all. Rayon, cotton, silk, with acrylic might be more comfortable. Further, the wash and care of these textiles is important to consider. Delicate cycle or hand wash, cool water not hot, and hang or lay flat to dry. I had to learn all this and it helped! Enjoy your channel, thank you!

Moving one of the buttons you are less likely to use to the empty spot might be a solution to the green cardigan. One from the very top or bottom. If you want to replace the button with a different style, perhaps a more decorative one, put it at the top of the sweater and the other button in the spot where it's missing. cute stuff.

lol, more than 3/4 of my tops end up being "off-the-shoulder" tops. I did "the math" recently - narrow shoulders + relatively small bust + buying clothes to fit my abdominal area + preferring tank tops - anything close to my neck that makes me feel like I'm choking = 24 tank tops that don't stay up on my shoulders. 😉🙃🤣🙃😉

Hi Alexa! (I apologize for any mistakes, English isn't my first neither my second language 😅) Anyway, I don't know if it will work with a little stretched out material but... usually when they create shirring, they steam it with an iron (I think just with the steam, without the iron touching the fabric, like less than an inch apart) and the elastic threads in the shirring shrink and become tighter. Maybe you could try this with the green gingham dress and hopefully it will tighten it just enough for you! Either way, this dress is one of the cutest things I have ever seen! What I fun video! I loved every single thing you purchased and you looked fantastic in the try-on portion. You have great taste and style! Oh and edited to add - one good tip I have for something missing a unique button. Move the uppermost one down to the missing spot. Now find a unique button you love and put it back in the first button place. I wear mostly silver so I usually go with a sparkly silver bling-type button. You wear a lot of gold so I am sure you could find a fun gold button. Hope this helps!

Croft and Barrow is upscale at Khols here in Indiana. I have my 99s catsuit. Back in the day it was getting naked to use the bathroom at the bar. Now I put a cute t shirt under neath it skio too much layering or a belt . Very comfy and easy to use the bathroom.
