I agree with you about some thrift store pricing. I feel the same way about having limits to what I pay for some thing in my head. I was Thrifting with a friend of mine the other day, and I saw this really cute sleep shirt and I looked at it and it was a Walmart brand And they wanted seven bucks for it and I thought in my head you could get this on clearance at Walmart new for seven bucks lol. My friend and I each found really awesome. Thrifted denim jackets, though I found a slightly cropped burgundy one and then she found a denim colored one that was slightly longer I think. Love your channel. Congrats again Macy on your book and you Carrie for being in the book. So awesome it's so important to have good friends.

I just know that when something feels too short standing, it's often WAY too short sitting and, with her height, I bet she doesn't get much wear out of it. I guess maybe with tights, though. :)

That was so fun wish I could shop you all. I felt the thrifting high. I had an idea first wear the skirt around the house to see if it stretches and you could do a few inch slit on the side but make sure to reinforce the top part of the slits so it stays. Our local Goodwill prices are insane. They do straight across the board pricing. Example: dress are $15. There are so many things there that are cheaper brand new than the Goodwill store price. And they aren't quality items. Wish I could find a good local thrift store that has good items. I know it's hit or miss but there so many things that is hard about being plus size and thrifting.

As someone who shopped Melrose in the 80’s, have not been very impressed by current thrift shops. I bought a $3 crushed velvet maroon dress and cut out the back zipper to wear to Prince Purple Rain concert. Little hat with face veil, fishnets and steel toe pumps. Just don’t see the same finds now.
