I prefer donating to the small and independent thrift shops. The big guys get so much as it is, and the big guys tend to toss out-of-season donations into landfill as well.

@@PhillyPicker Yeah, I was gobsmacked the first time I pulled up (with yard waste) beside a Salvation Army truck at the city dump, and they were dumping donations....then got digging deeper and found out that it was a disturbingly common practice among the big guys. Ever wonder why there are locked fences around the bins and compactors behind those big stores? That's one of the reasons why.

Wow, that vintage eagles shirt was pretty cool! Even though I'm a Cowboys fan, so I hate the Eagles by default lol. And those hats at Salvation army were so dang expensive!!! Fun ride/ thrift along, really enjoyed this video.

I need to drop off a load of items to Salvation Army( I unfortunately don't have a non corporate thrift store near by) When you showed the M&M I thought well that's different, Nice flip to sell it for $39.99. The jersey should sell, I don't mind selling NFL items , but I would rather watch Soccer and I hate soccer then watch a game( Losing 2 teams from St Louis was just too much. I Know I am holding a grudge).
