Remember slow into the apex then fast out that's what all the professionals do mate your doing well though keep up the good work 👍

No idea what those class 8's would have done if you had not let them past and raced them, off the line or when they lapped you. When you practice, stay wide, keep full throttle, slowely move in a little every lap to where the car is happy on full throttle and not on opposite lock, this will be the line that is fastest for you car and your skill.
